Fantastic hotel. Great service! I will be staying here again on future trips. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The matradee knew the area well and were helpful giving advice and suggestions. The breakfast was outstanding.
Great hotel. Fantastic rooms, great staff and very flexible. We come here every year with a group of cyclists. Every year we experience a warm welcome and Hospitality with a capital H. Highly recommended!
After a long day of Motorcycle Tour with my Husband we found a nice Hotel. The Hotel Staff is friendly, room is cleaned, spacious and queit. You can relax at the same time Enjoy the view.. The Price is reasonable and its just a walking distance for shopping and restaurants.. Hope to come back again
Breakfast was good Overall. Location good and free parking. Beds were comfy. Late arrival possible. Breakfast typical Italian. One waiter was very busy with the guests. Maybe thus the ordered crepe was arrived raw and not fully done. We had a nice stay. Great pizzeria around the corner is doing perfect food.
I stayed with a small group and everyone could not have been happier. The hotel s beautifully appointed, wth convenient parking (surface is free, garage €10/night) and a staff that took care of us admirably. We had a delicious dinner on the half-board, with abundant choice, including a buffet of cold starters, a cheese board buffet and even a dessert buffet. That was added to hot starters, pastas and mains ordered at table and cooked to order. Breakfast was particularly strong, with many sweet and savory choices and eggs cooked to order. The rooms were spacious and full of mountain charm – mine featured a balcony with views of the Alps. Bormio itself is a delightful mountain village of great charm and authenticity. I would come back to the town and San Lorenzo anytime!
We stayed there for four nights, and was extremely pleased. Helpful staff, spacious rooms, great breakfast and good dinner. Can relly recommend it! Location was also great, a nice terrace and also a parking space
The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was perfect, with lots of fresh fruits and different choices of hot meals prepaired on the spot. The best thing is the location of the hotel, on walking distance from all interesting placea, including the cable car.
San Lorenzo hotel, located in the core of old Bormio, the middle age village that was ruling the upper part of Valtellina, is proudly introducing guests to traditions of the valley since nearly a century. Nevertheless the people managing the hotel are bringing it well into the modern Bormio, starting point for skiing, biking, thermal relaxing, alpine hiking. So visitors enter that stoney building, internally coated by scented arolla pine wood and find good modern organisation that make stay a very pleasant experience. At the end that charming atmosphere is the result of activity and good personal attitude of management and all personnel letting guests feel being at their mountains home. Last but not least the restaurant and the cellar offer the possibility to know the real food and the wide choice of wines of the valley.…
The San Lorenzo is set up for a great cycling trip. Centrally located, crisp and clean, exquisite cuisine, and friendly service make for a memorable experience. Other cycling groups makes for a fun environment. My third stay with Marcella and Samantha in three years. We will be back!
Great for the price. Nice restaurant. Restaurant staff was a pleasant surprise. Rooms are nice. No complaints. Doesn't have an iron, but I know that's a 5-star hotel that would include this. Great breakfast.
