Ski holiday - Location of the hotel was fantastic. Right in the heart of the ancient town, vert atmospheric and surrounded by good shops, bars and cafes. Only 15-10 min walk to the gondola. Hotel very old and a bit dated but clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful, even though my Italian is nearly non-existent they sorted anything I needed. They even provided amazing bar snacks without request. Would definately think to go back, summer or winter.

The hotel is in the pedestrian area, close to the bus station.The breakfast is from buffet, mainly sweet. I had a single room, big enough except for the toilet which was really small.Restaurant is not very cheap ( about 20 euros for main course +water+cake). There is a lift.

Stayed here in Feb 2016 as part of a ski trip. Rooms very basic but clean. Handle for bathroom covered in tape holding it on. Tv didn't work. Food poor also. However the staff were extremely friendly. Overall disappointing

Located at the beginning of Bormio old town, this small hotel has nice standard rooms. A good restaurant and really friendly staff. Parking is close to the rear a few metres from the entrance. I had a nice room overlooking the Alps. Few minutes walk from the ski cable car to Bormio 2000.

We were skiing for a week in March 2015. The hotel is owned by italian family. It's not big, but rather cosy. Rooms are clean and enough space for 2 persons. Very nice restaurant and it's soul Mario. He is always in a good mood, very communicable and friendly. Food was delicious. The hotel also is in the very good location in the main pedastrian street of the city of Bormio.

Run by local family. Excellent regional home made food. Great localisation - close to ski lift. Rooms are clean. Standard **. Dog stay for free and is welcome even in bar. Were there few times and will come back for sure.

Hotel Gufo is on Via Roma, the main 'promenade' street in Bormio. Rooms were basic, but clean and warm with an excellent bathroom - better than hotels twice the price that we've stayed in before in Bormio. Car parking is included in the room rate - so even better value. Breakfasts were good - just the same as 4 * equivalents nearby. Dinner always included choices and was good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be staying theer again in April - so must be good!

Fantastic food every night at the hotel, choice of 2 meals, great italian cooking. food makes up for all other shortcomings of the hotel. Room very warm very clean, basic but plenty of cupboards. try to get a room at the rear because the front street is noisy until 3:30am. Good location for shops bars +restaurants as it is on the main street. Ski locker room and a 10 minuite walk to the lifts but You can leave skis & boots at hire shop close to the lifts. Good skiing, plenty of red runs. would happily stay there again.
