We have stayed here many times now so thought it was about time to leave a review. If you are looking for a ski in/ski out location in one of the loveliest resorts in the Dolomites, then this could work for you. The hotel is very comfortable (but not luxurious) with great facilities for skiing. The food is great (we...

We spent a week in this hotel and enjoyed a lot its location, as the hotel is located just in the middle of the Bormio slope, a few steps from the snow lift. We also appreciated very good cuisine - we had dinner there and each day there was a very good selection of dishes, including italian specialities. After all...

I stayed in the Vallechiara with my family last week (age range 1 - 71!) and we all had a wonderful time. The rooms are basic but with beautiful views, the food is traditional, filling and delicious and best of all are the staff who are always smiling and happy to help. They organised two trips to the local swimming...

This is our second visit in 2 years. Am very fond of the place. We stayed for a week and skied in Bormio & Santa Caterina. Reasonably priced, well located at the bottom of the chair lift up to Bormio 2000, & half way down the piste that goes to Bormio town.Visitors will need there own transport. Perfect for families....

This was our second visit in winter to this lovely hotel, it is set on the edge of the Selvie piste and the rooms , bar and restaurant all have spectacular views. Unusually for an italian hotel it also has a lounge come tv room on the first floor with a balcony. Accommodation can be either in the hotel itself...

The hotel is in an excellent location in the center of the slopes. Beautiful views, good transport links. Facilities of restaurant is OK, but the rooms are horrible. Unsatisfactory bed, bathroom, hear everything. Dinner is quite good, breakfast quite poor. Internet is also terrible, still losing. Maybe it's the fact that we are after the season.

Very nice enjoyable hotel. We had a breakfast and dinner. Great and very good breakfast and fantastic four course Italian dinner. We also rented ski's for nice price. Very easy to book, try and change. Very friendly personnel.

We had our first skiing holiday with our 2 boys, 7 and 5 years. The hotel is right on this slope next to the chair lift. The hotels owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere and delicious food ! The rooms are lovely decorated in traditional style. We are definitely coming back !! Hjortaa family

My wife - who is from Bormio - recently had our wedding reception here and it was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and did an outstanding job arranging everything. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the location is phenomenal. I hope to make it back soon to say hello to the staff --- thanks...

If you want to stay in Bormio, this is not an optimal choice. This would be an excellent choice if you come in the winter to ski as the slopes are a walking distance from hotel. As we visited during the summer, it was very quiet, mostly empty, but, like most Italy, very beautiful. The room we got at the...
