Podere Ugolini was such a relaxing family holiday. We had a wonderful two weeks where we stayed in a two bedroom ground floor apartment which had a beautiful view from the double bedroom. The location of these holiday apartments is so relaxing and the amazing views are a big plus. The owners Donella and Ronato are very friendly and even...

If you like a slice of classic, rustic Italy, then Podere Ugolini is the place to be. The apartments are part of old houses that were once a tiny little hamlet high in the hills/mountains area of Ronta. It is all basic but amenable and in my opinion absolutely perfect. We stayed for two weeks and for my fifth visit...

Our trip to Podere Ugolini was more than we could have expected, from the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside to the hospitality of the owners Renato and Donella and the lovely setting of the apartments and pool, it was a truly relaxing experience. The owners Renato and Donella are always available should you need anything and very hospitable and...

We were looking for a quiet relaxing, break and certainly found it here in this little gem in the Tuscan Hills. Accessing the accommodation by a dusty track just added to the charm. Although, when we were there, part of the track was surfaced which certainly made the journey a little less bumpy. Our hosts, Donella and Renato made us...

Peter and his wife are wonderful innkeepers and incredible restauranteurs. Their down-home style is perfect for Cingoli. We have eaten there several times, and Peter always outdoes himself. If you order pasta for more than one person, they bring it out in the pan and dish it out for you. Peter really knows how to cook, especially meats. I have...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Podere Ugolini is situated near Borgo San Lorenzo. There are holiday apartments which have been renovated but feel of farm houses of olden days. They are all independent, equipped with central heating, and a few also have fireplaces. Outside you can relax in the large green areas, there are tables and barbecue facilities or you can do long walks along the C.A.I. paths. About 2km away is the train station of Ronta, and in 45 minutes you can reach Florence. You can reach important places like the birthplace of Giotto, the lake of Bilancino, the Medicean castle of Cafaggiolo and the Barberino Shopping Outlet. ... more   less
