Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Stayed here in summer with my boyfriend, and it was absolutely perfect!! From our room, meals, location and the staff it was just lovely. It is situated in the most perfect spot with everything you need in a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was simple but just perfect! The rooms were clean and very fresh, our little balcony was just so cute! The staff were all so friendly and if you needed anything they would help. For a 2 star hotel it was beyond amazing! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something simple yet authentically cute. The building was also gorgeous from the outside and if you drive there was parking available. The one thing that was missing was a pool but honestly it didn’t need it with a 5 minute walk to the lake !!! Just perfect :)

Excellent small family hotel perfectly located for a stay in Bardolino. Our room was on the 2nd floor, there is no lift which may be a problem for some but it had everything required, comfortable bed, hot shower, air conditioning, plenty of storage and a small balcony. A plentiful buffet breakfast was served in a pleasant dining room with the option of eating outside on the terrace. On our final day we were leaving early and a breakfast was left for us with the coffee machine left on to help ourselves. The owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful, would certainly recommend.

The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the lakefront and many good restaurants. The multi-lingual owners and all staff are helpful and friendly, making guests welcome and they're very efficient. The hotel is clean and tidy, mirrors are spotless and stairs and public areas all tidy, fresh and clean. We spent a lot of time on the terrace, having our breakfast outside was great. We also sat in the shade on some very hot afternoons, played dominoes and had a cool drink from the bar. The room was well designed with lots of drawer and hanging space, coat hooks, bedside lockers, and a safe. Air conditioning was most welcome. Be aware access is via steps from the street and there is no lift, if that is important to you. An excellent hotel, well run by people with a gift for hospitality. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Whilst this small hotel is nothing fancy, it is immaculately clean and our room was very comfortable, with good air conditioning. There is a great selection of good food for the Continental breakfast. What makes this hotel excellent however, is the fabulous service provided by the welcoming and friendly staff, who literally cannot do enough for you. The one & only little niggle for me was our balcony, which was only half the size of the ones in the photo of the hotel, so could only fit 1 chair on it. There is also no light so you can’t sit out and read once it’s dark, which is something we like to do on holiday. However, with the lovely staff and the excellent location, a couple of minutes walk from shops & restaurants and 5 mins walk from the lake, I would definitely recommend this hotel as the perfect base for a Lake Garda holiday.

we`ve spent there 2 nights ( room 204 from 29 to 31 July 2020) during a quick "stopover" on Garda Lake... the hotel is old but very well kept , rooms are basic but with excellent cleaning and all comforts ( tv/ac/safe box) staff is friendly and kind and the owner looks after you like family... very good breakfast with lots of yummy options and excellent location, less than 2 minutes walk from the lake, the restaurants , the promenade.

Just finished a lovely weeks holiday in Bardolino, Lake Garda. We stayed in the Taormina Hotel where the owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Spotlessly clean with a good selection for the buffet breakfast. It is in an ideal position- within a few minutes walk from the lake and the town centre. Highly recommended!

Stayed here with my partner for one week and found the hotel friendly, very clean, well run with staff and owners that will go out of their way to help you in any way possible. The location of the hotel is superb. Quiet yet central. Breakfast was the typical continental but extremely adequate. It may not have an evening restaurant but as restaurants are plentiful in Bardolino, this isn't missed at all. Bike hire at €12 per day was fantastic as new bikes were provided. Free parking is also appreciated. I have been to Bardolino on a number of occasions and would definitely stay in the Taormina again and will recommend it to others.

Stayed 1 week in this 2 star hotel and was really impressed. Staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. Breakfast was particularly good. The location is excellent being in very easy access of the tourist information office, bus stop and town. No swimming pool but that is not a problem with the lake nearby.

We were recommended this hotel by the local tourist information and it did not disappoint. We were welcomed by Giovanni who was such a lovely person and so friendly... I knew then this was the place for us. We had free parking, the room was spotless and we also had a balcony which is always a bonus when you want to chill after a day out. The room also had all of the amenities you need and a half decent hairdryer. Breakfast was one a lovely continental with beautiful fresh croissants. The location was within very close walking distance of the centre with lots of bars and restaurants but with enough distance for a quiet nights sleep. Don't always look for four or five star hotels .....I highly recommend this hotel Thank you Giovanni and staff for making our stay a memorable one ......Ciao! and hope to visit again soon 😀
