We had an ocean facing room on floor 11 view a spectacular view over the Valley of Temples and the Mediterranean . The apartment block is on a hill so the view is the equivalent of that from a plane landing. It is stunning. The room is large and there is a good sized balcony to sit and enjoy the...

Aside from the challenge of finding a near parking spot and fitting into it, the location is fine, with a view over the valley and good restaurants nearby. The accommodation is not fancy, but is clean, comfortable and good value. The host is the greatest asset of this B and B. Alfonso is hospitable, helpful and has good English. He...

Following difficulties finding La Casa di El B&B because of the instructions from Google Maps, Alphonso gave us phone directions, met us and directed us to his home. From then on he provided us with a comfortable clean room (one of two opening onto a common sitting area) with a great view of the temples. Breakfast was a choice of...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Alfonso was a very attentive host. When we arrived we were offered a drink by his equally charming mother. When Alfonso arrived he gave us good tips on places to eat which were very good and useful information about the local tourist attractions. He was very keen we enjoyed our stay, regularly offering us refreshments....

Alfonso was an over the top host who makes sure his guests have a superior time. He started by giving us us the choice of three rooms, they were all spectacular. Very modern and clean. We chose the one on the 11th floor with the city view. The breakfasts were huge and delicious, he served his mother's home made jams,...

We stayed two nights here and it was a splendid choice as a base to explore the nearby temple sites. Locating the B&B in the late afternoon Agrigento traffic was a bit of a challenge in our hire car, although our host Alfonso - who had in fact provided clear directions - was ready and waiting to assist with safe...

We visited Sicily this past October and stayed at La Case di El. We had a very nice suite located on one of the upper floors, which gave us a beautiful view of the old town. We had a private breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. Alfonso was extremely helpful, and even helped translate and make arrangements with...

I can only echo the positive comments of other travellers lucky enough to stay at La Casa di El. We had an exceptionally large, beautifully equipped room (complete with piano!) with a spectacular view over the Valley of the Temples towards the sea. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. There was genuinely nothing not to like...
