We stayed in this resort with our family last year.We hired a duplex villa.Stay was excellent a family. On convenience in the house.Lot of area to walk and enjoy.Surroundings are neatly kept.Enough places for car park. Good food eventhough not many out lets. If you want a peaceful place to spend time with your family away from the busy city this is the place.
Stayed in an apartment for 2 nights over Christmas. We had dropped in some months before and played golf there which we enjoyed. The apartment was disappointing with a poorly equipped kitchen, smelly drains and a TV/sound system which didn't work. Although spacious it was sparsely furnished. The pool was very nice though the beach was basically a sandy sun deck with no access to the sea because of rocks. Breakfast at 'Gossip Corner' was good though the buffet breakfast at the 'Sky Lounge' was cold. The 'Breeze Bar' was pleasant and the golf course was enjoyable once again. Would visit again but wouldn't stay over.
We went to As Sifah in end of July for lunch and sightseeing to take a break from Muscat. The journey was pleasant and once there, you can appreciate the beautiful view surrounded by mountains in the back and sea in the front. Lunch was decent but then we didn’t go there for the food. The beach and scenery were lovely. This is a nice place if you have 3-4 hours to spare on a weekend. Lovely half day trip with friends over lunch fronting the sea and bay.
Lunch in beautiful settings. Cheese board and halloumi salad lovely. Drive through mountains from Muscat. Quiet during Ramadan and can really understand why people who like golf come here. Stunning marina.
Travelled from Muscat to spend one night and two days for a days golf at the new golf course. Four of us shared a two bed, two bathroom executive room. Minimalist is the key here. Basic and clean. Breakfast was included and was really quite nice, but don’t stray off what is included. I did by asking for a second glass of orange juice/squash and ended up paying £6 for it. Ouch! The Bank is a nice place for lunch with a lovely infinity pool which is quieter than the main pool which was full of kids and a nice beach bar also. Dinner was ok, prices you would expect and the service good. As we travel a lot to Oman I would certainly stay again as the golf course is very reasonably priced at only 13omr (£26) for 9 holes and 20omr (£40) for 18.
Drove out for the day to this new golf course and wasn't disappointed. Only 9 holes so far,and well worth the quite spectacular drive from Muscat. Suggest the golf course gets itself onto Tripadvisor too. Friendly folk, and the boutique hotel built around a classic Mediterranean style marina allows real relaxation before and/or afterwards. There is also a water 'taxi' from The Wave/Al Bandar marina's if you fancy more sea air.
Le Sifah is providing serviced apartments within the large Muriya property; they also share facilities with the Sifawy Hotel, especially the pool. We stayed in a two bed room luxury apartment in Nov'16 and Three bed room apartment in May'17. The two bed room luxury apartment was amazing with its interior, furniture, huge living room & balcony and the marina view. Three bed room apartment (two toilets only) also had great view but the interior was not that amazing but adequate. It is fully furnished including the kitchen. As they are part of the Muriya property, all the outdoor facilities are same as staying in the hotel, you may have to pay the bills instantaneous (pool bar etc). A walk through the side of the marina to the private beach is scenic. Boating, Jet ski, banana ride, diving training etc. are available on chargeable basis. The Swimming pool at Sifawy Hotel is good & accessible free. Breakfast at Gossip corner is basic but included in the rate. There is a nearby shop from where basic items can be purchased.…
Against a beautiful mountain settings and an ocean front, they have managed to build an ugly and an uninviting place. Really nothing good, dark, badly designed apartment and poorly equipped kitchen, and rubbish breakfast. I would only go back there to bulldoze off this monstrosity.
Great place right in the center of the attraction. Dining inside and outside. The choice of dishes on offer was astounding. For a Hotel that is somewhat out of the way, they really treat their guests first class. A little expensive, but for what is on offer you can make it work for you and be very happy with the results.
The location was amazing, weather was OK, it's starting to get warmer in Oman this week. But overall it was pleasant weather. We stayed at the resort for 2 nights. Not much activities Just to relax and enjoy the place and scenery.
