My son and I had a comfortable stay at this hotel. Our room was on the second floor facing the parking lot but it was quiet enough for us not to be bothered by the bars and disco on the opposite end of the hotel and we still had quick access to the pool and beach behind the hotel. Air conditioning worked well as well as the cable TV, plus our rate included breakfast which was plentiful (choice of Arabic, American or Continental) even though the hotel was not completely flexible about providing it earlier than their 7 am start time. It was also served inside a bar, although room service is apparently available as well. The restaurant downstairs specializes in sheesha by the way. Restaurants are plentiful in the area so don’t feel obliged to eat at the hotel. Essentially it’s a basic hotel on Al Qurum beach that’s cheaper than its neighboring hotels like the W or the Intercontinental.…
Really enjoyed our stay here- especially for its location right on the beach - which provides great walking and swimming opportunities. The breakfast was very good and plentiful and restaurant food also good. The premises have a liquor license - unusual in Muscat. There are other restaurants close by - enjoyed Twins Turkish on a couple of occasions. Only downside is the possible noise impact - the venue is also a nightclub which runs until 3am. Didn’t really bother us and the hotel was reasonably priced.
Stayed here for 2 nights in December. Small hotel right on the beach - only 10 rooms. The outdoor Shisha Bar seemed to be the main focus. The room was nice, clean and not too noisy despite being on the 'city' side. Breakfast on the bar balcony was lovely with a wonderful view of the sea. It's a great place to stay if you like long walks . on the beach while still being close to city amenities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Bargained the front desk guy down to 55 rials for the night. When I was still on the fence, he said he would throw in the airport transfer in the morning. Deal! When I was leaving for the airport, I learned that what he meant by "throw in" was that the taxi driver would show up for me, and I'd pay the bloated tourist price of 12 rials, which is 200% of the local price. I walked outside the hotel and 20 seconds later had a driver take me for 6 rials. Otherwise, hotel is comfortable, modern, friendly, etc which is about what you what expect at this price point.
I’ve searched for a perfect location with perfect price and facilities and I found Al Qurum resort. I’ve stayed there for two nights and I loved everything. The only negative for this hotel is a few rooms are there around 10 maybe. The resort deserves more than 3 stars
