Staff very professional and friendly ,unfortunately our shower was cold leaving me unable to do my hair etc. Great room shame the air con wasnt working in the room. I was melting and sleeping was not easy. If the aircon and water heater was working then I would of had a better experience. Pool area is in dire need of renovation.

It is not easy to find a good location for a stopover in Muscat, as the city is divided in several quarters due to the geography of the place. Therefore, a 'centrally located hotel' does not really exist and one has to find a place that is most practical for the tours he plans, but this will never be close to all sightseeing hot spots. We selected the Centara Muscat hotel as our base for several of our excursions in the Sultanate of Oman as we got good transportation by private bus within the city. The hotel is very pleasant, meals are good and the rooftop restaurant offers buffet style diners at an acceptable price. The staff is very friendly and well trained. A good hotel if you have to be in this area of the city. There are several Indian restaurants close by in case you want to eat somewhere else.…

We spent three nights here in March, great hotel, lovely room, we booked a suite, well equipped and very comfortable. It's in as good a location as any we saw in Muscat, easy to reach the mosque and not bad for old Muscat. 15 mins to airport. Would highly recommend.
