Nice Quirky room spoilt by a view of a corrugated asbestos roof. Comfy bed, crisp sheets, good shower etc. Restaurant was, we felt, "pretentious". We ate outside among the fig trees which was unusual and pleasant. The menu was OK, nothing stunning. The food was OK, nothing stunning -and judging by the fact everything had Tomatoes in it - and...

This hotel did not live up to expectations. Reception was usually unmanned when we wanted something. The room was exceptionally modern and clean but felt a little clinical. Bed was very comfortable. We were told we could not get drinks until 6.30pm although the receptionist did oblige. We did not have a great experience in the restaurant, we did arrive...

Just a one night stop on the way south, but it was a nice friendly place to stay. Nice room, and an exceptionally good meal which was good value. Slight drawback is that the wine list is pretty pricey - no doubt very good - but no jugs of house wine here. And no draught beer on offer either. But...

incredible breakfast and diner with almost 100 percent regional products. the rooms have different styles but all are cosy. in summer the small pool invites to relax. only thing which could be better for me is the wifi - in some rooms the network is weak and every hour you have to reconnect.

Stayed one night on a bike-vacation and found the hotel nice looking but unfortunately very noisy due to poor isolation between the rooms. The pool area and the breakfast was very good. The staff was nice and helpful.

We used this hotel as a one night stop-over on our drive from the south of France to Ile d'Oleron. Easy to find, helpful and friendly reception staff, plenty of parking. We had a family room in the annexe - ice cold air con (it was 35 degrees outside so it was needed!), stylish bathroom with nice toiletries, separate loo...

We stayed a night for dinner and breakfast on the way to Arcachon. It is a surprising hotel and restaurant of some quality. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room which is part of a wooden cabin style outhouse near the pool. There was no extraneous noise outside the room but the air-conditioning unit was so...

Found this Logis de France hotel when looking for a stop south of Bordeaux on the drive to the Pyrenees. In a little village in the middle of nowhere, it was a peach of a find, beautifully presented, clean, quirky but very professionally run. We had a large annex room with air con away from the main building, very private...

After a trans-Atlantic flight we arrived in Bordeaux for the start of our vacation we looked for a hotel that would be a short drive from the airport. The Le Resinier was a perfect choice at a 20 minute ride, and it offered wonderful accommodations which allowed us to quickly re-group and get acclimated. The location was easy to find...

We came to this hotel after a ride on the bike. The room was quite small, but nice. Somebody shold learn to wash the toilet here, not nice! But they had a wonderful swimming pool. After a lovely dinner, we went to bed to sleep. Thar was not easy although we were tired. We had to room over the restaurant,...
