We had a great week in the Ecrins. Elisa was a great host and the hotel was clean comfortable and well located. Good breakfasts with good coffee and breads and excellent croissants. Elisa was very helpful and had an excellent knowledge of the area.

We ended up booking this hotel last minute and didn't do much research. Our main goal was being close to the hikes we wanted to do. Perfect location, for what we wanted to do. The hotel was a great little surprise. We had the most amazing view of the mountains. The room was small and basic, but super clean, and the bed extremely comfortable. All we could ask for. The hotel also has private parking. I would stay there again. One thing we didn't realize was that you can only pay in cash, luckily we had enough on us, but we cut it close, so make sure you have enough cash on you!

This is my second trip to this campsite. I was camping and took a "nature" pitch which means no electric. There are electric pitches, comfort tents which are more permanent solid types and chalets. The facilities are very good and are cleaned very early every morning. It was hot during our stay so the pools were busy. Staff are available between 8.30-1pm and 2pm till late. The bar area gets very busy on an evening and sometimes the wait for a pizza is long but as it is only 5mins walk into the village of Vallouise it is easy to find food both restaurants and take aways.
