The hotel is set in a prime location of the quaint village of Vallouise. A fantastic location to explore the beautiful landscape of the surrounding natural environment. I was part of a large group of veterans, which was made to feel at home throughout our stay by all the staff , Xavier the main host was definitely a stand out with his comedy friendly welcoming manner for this a salute you my friend! All the staff at Hotel Les Vallois are incredible. Fantastic food with a few beers afterwards was the icing on the cake👌. Accommodation is fit for purpose,clean and tidy with a veranda type balcony with great views. Definitely visit again and already making plans to revisit. Thank you all

The place is in a wonderful location in the very center of the town. Rooms are very small but decent considering it is a two star hotel. Breakfast is also decent, not anyhow recommended for vegetarians. Restaurant food is average, portions are very generous. Staff is professional, English is not so spoken but you manage to make them understanding you... they are much more friendly it you are French but this is unfortunately common in France. The real minus is cleansiness, rooms are dusty and they do not clean properly. Price per quality is not so good, at the end it is not cheap.

We arrived tired and dirty and were welcomed by the friendly owner who gave us some good advice on the next part of the GR54. Nice clean central hotel. A great place to stay for the night. We didn’t eat dinner there but the breakfast was very good and the terrasse is a good place to have a beer.

More of a restaurant with rooms above than a hotel, but a really good restaurant with friendly staff! Some of the rooms have nice views and the 'hotel' is in a good location. Breakfast was typically French, and you could probably do better to find a bakery in town instead for some fresh pastry, bread and coffee.

We stayed here for one night in a family room. We had a very comfortable stay. The staff were really friendly, food was great and bedroom was nice with a lovely view and comfy beds. We will book again next year.

Could not fault this place, I went with a veterans charity that helps us regain our confidence, face our problems and make new friends. The rooms served their purpose clean with great bathroom facilities. Food and drink were superb as were the staff, special mention for Shaggy and the owner Xavier who couldn’t do enough for us. Am planning a return trip with a friend. Can’t wait to revisit, Sharpie

In my world, Les Vallois would have been at least a 3*. Very good food (breakfasts could be improved slightly though), clean, quiet, great location, murmur of le Gyr, own small pool and great staff - we loved our stay. 3rd floor rooms are attic rooms - charming beams but no balconies like in the second floor

Warm, clean room with balcony. Better still, open when many other places closed out of season. Friendly welcome and efficeint service in bar and restaurant, both also clearly popular with the locals. Situated in very central area of the lovely Valloise village.

Great location for all but especially people who love the outdoors. Friendly staff who always make you feel very welcome. Good food always well cooked, you can order pack lunches if you are on the river or the hills for the day.

L'hôtel Les Vallois est à 300 mètres des pistes de ski de fond.
Pour le ski de piste, il faudra monter à Puy Saint Vincent 1400 m ou rejoindre Pelvoux. Les trajets s'effectuent mieux en voiture. Il y des navettes mais il me semble que les horaires ne sont pas très pratiques. il est aussi possible de se rendre dans les autres stations de ski des environs comme Montgenèvre ou, plus Serre Che.
