BEQUIA BEACHFRONT VILLA Heaven on earth, with the unique feel of Bequia as a backdrop, Bequia Beachfront Villa is a luxury classical Caribbean beach estate where laid-back rules. This barefoot island paradise is the place to come for comfort, privacy, freedom and fun. THE ESTATE The ultimate island retreat, with its secluded beachfront setting, classical Caribbean design and fresh, spacious interiors, even by Bequian standards, the Beachfront Villa is pure bliss. Nested in 2 acres of nature and tropical gardens with panoramic views of the sea and beach, the layout of the villa and its outdoor space, are closely connected to nature and configured to capture the beauty of the location. From when the sun rises to when it sets, the rooms, wrap-around an expansive terrasse area are all positioned to make the most of Bequia’s magnificent year-round climate. Flooded with natural light, breeze and shadow and created with a free spirited lifestyle in mind the villa is a unique property in Bequia. The house comfortably sleeps up to 18 with nine bedrooms and 3 large open- plan living and kitchen areas that opens out onto a covered outside dining and lounge area. The tropical garden incorporates a gazebo, sun and yoga deck. A direct and private access flows right on an idyllic stretch of pristine sandy beach. Discreet and attentive staff are on stand-by and, as well as providing a laundry, housekeeping and concierge service, we can also organise for a car, a driver, a boat with a captain to be at your disposal. The villa welcomes families and childcare facilities can also be arranged on request. THE LOCATION Bequia Beachfront Villa is positioned right on Friendship Beach looking over to Mustique and the Grenadine Islands to the south. Surrounded by a tropical garden, palm trees and coconuts, the villa sits in the heart of Bequia so getting around is always just a short 5 minutes drive away (to Princess Margaret and Lower Bay beaches).

Amazing stay at Bequia Beachfront Villas. Our room was just a few steps from the sea with a lovely terrace to sit and contemplate the stunning views. Bernadette our host was very helpful. Will definitely be going back!

We are experienced travelers and our 2 week stay in the 1 bedroom beachfront apartment was by far our favourite vacation to date! Spacious, high ceilings, good storage & two french doors to a large verandah steps away from the Sea! Kitchen has everything to prepare meals. An Island Style restaurant nearby or the Good Mood Cafe both on main road. Bagatelle at Bequia Beach Hotel is fancier & just down the beach. Bequia is a lovely blend of mostly locals with a smattering of snowbirds & some short term tourists. Although equipped with AC we only used the ceiling fans at night & were comfortable. Friendship Bay is a quieter side of the island. Swim & snorkel right out front. During our 2 week stay there was some sargassum for a couple of days, but it was raked up immediately &didn't cause a problem. We loved our daily beach walks. The area is quiet & safe. We rented a jeep but in hindsight we wish we hadn't. The taxis & local buses are plentiful & less expensive than a car. Bequia is very hilly, but the walk to Lower Bay or Princess Margaret Bay (& to Port Elizabeth from there) is quite doable - mostly downhill or gentle slope, a taxi or bus back if you don't want hills! George & Anna were spectacular hosts, very helpful & available if needed. George took us on a tour of some of the areas we had missed! Bernadette was amazing, friendly & went out of her way to make sure we had everything needed! Our main issue was that we loved the location so much we didn't want to leave!

I really like the Villas, Went with the property saw a low price. booked it. I did not notice the no refund comment on the website for the cheaper $7/night fee. The next day on the web site while inadvertently looking at my reservation I hit a button and it canceled the reservation and reminded me I had lost my $3200 booking charges. I immediately called Expedia and they have been working to either reinstate the booking or refund the money!!!!! Property will not respond!! Very disappointed. Cannot understand why this is so hard to get a response

Hello Robert, We just getting in possession of this trip advisor account and we are surprised of your critical message. Based on our books you first booked through expédia then canceled for no fees with them and then re booked with booking.com. You should be able to manage your booking though the provider you used, ie Expedia, therefore your message impacting our place is not founded. Also please advise us if we should cancel your upcoming booking through booking.com. Kind regards.

This place is amazing, understated, comfortable, clean, with location and views to die for, really a hidden gem in Bequia. Friendly management and staff, ready to help and suggest things to do, it is a perfect hideaway spot for anyone who wants to relax in a great setting. Can accommodate anywhere from solo travelers to larger groups, including self catering options since a few of their apartments have full kitchen facilities.

Having been on excursion from ship, we walked along beach to sit and have lovely icecream watching the boats. Beach for swimming nearby and saw beautiful red starfish in front. People were eating and drinking and a open relaxed setting.

I've stayed here on two occasions and it is the most amazing place you can be with the right company to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. This place is located 1 minute from the beach, most of the time you have it all to yourself. You can talk lovely walks or hire a taxi to take you around, reasonably price or get a rental depending on your length of stay. These apartments a nicely decorated and very airy, and gives you a feeling of home away from home. You have the choice to eat out or buy groceries and make your meals in the well equipped kitchen. I will recommend Bequia Beachfront Villas with hesitation.

The location of the Bequia Beachfront Villa Hotel on Friendship Bay could have not been better. Four of us spent three nights there in the two bedroom apartment overlooking the beach, before boarding a Tradewinds catamaran for a weeks’ sailing in the St Vincent’s. The staff could not do enough to make us feel at home. After some time in an all-inclusive hotel in Barbados – which was also very good – it was great to self-cater for breakfast and lunch and eat local produce. Not a cheap place to holiday but very rewarding. The beach was amazing and the sea so clear ideal for snorkelling. And we were the only ones on it! We had dinner at the close-by hotel for dinner, which involved a walk through the surf there and back. We engaged the services of the very likable and efficient Jenson (no relation) to drive us around the island. He was worth every penny - (gideontaxi@vincysurf.com). In a short time we really did get the feel for the real Caribbean.

we stayed 5 days, we where laughed at as we had paid way to much, 311.00 us dollars for a dingy one bedroom, cute locations though isolated and hard to get around from, we should have stayed on the Carabbean side where there are hotels with decent prices on food and the nice beaches. they could have upgraded us as there was no one else there, and the staff was lovely, also the only place for beverages or food you do not bring to the room is the bequia beach hotel, very expensive and average food.

Can't describe how wonderful Bequia & the Beachfront Villas were. Might be our best vacation ever and we love the BVI's. Bequia is great with lots of good restaurants in close proximity. Take taxis - driving is much too difficult for a rental car. We used Gideon the whole trip and he has a brother and 2 nephews who drive so someone is always available on short notice. He ran a tab for us and we paid at the end of the week. And Gideon is Daphne's brother. Daphne is the manager at the Beachfront Villas. She is amazing. It was like having our personal concierge/housekeeper/mom. There are only 3 units and the other 2 were vacant. We had the 1 BDR on the ground floor and she would have moved us up to the 2 BDR but it had just been vacated. The 1 BDR was fine - more than enough room and the small beach right outside our front door was great. even better was the reef - one of the 3 best on the island. we snorkeled every day. and scuba'd at Devil's Table with Dive Bequia and took the The Friendship Rose to Tobago Cays. Didn't make it to Mustique - next time. I could go on but I need to get back to work. Bequia is a wonderful island and the Beachfront Villas were great. they are for sale so they might be under new management soon - check to make sure Daphne is still in charge.

My wife and I spend a week there. There are only 3 units. I recommend the second floor unit, because the 1 bedroom unit on the first floor (where we stayed) has foliage interfering with the view of the bay. The beach was non-existent in front of the villas - there's a rocky area in front. There's a narrow beach a short walk down the shoreline. Because this bay faces southeast, there were small waves, and the water was not clear, as opposed to Lower Bay where we snorkeled. The only restaurant nearby is the one at the hotel down the beach, but it was not open yet, as were not several in Port Elizabeth. There were a few bugs, not enough to bother me but enough to bother my wife (she's sweeter than me). I give these details not because they mattered much to us, but in the interest of a complete picture. Now the good stuff: we were the only ones there, two of very few tourists on the island. This is my kind of Caribbean - no crowds, no big hotels or condos, no stores you ever heard of, lots of open air restaurants, friendly people who are not yet tired of tourists. We had a great time just unwinding and spending time together, reading, going into town, cooking, swimming and snorkeling. LIstening to the wind in the palms and the rain and the waves. Getting a fresh fish from the fishermen next door. The decor was relaxing and the ceilings must be 12 feet high. Large living room with 2 double doors leading to the spacious porch. The water was no more than 10 feet from the porch. Well equipped kitchen. Big bedroom with a king bed. Tiled bathroom. Daphne, the housekeeper, was great. If you said you didn't have any limes for the fish, she would show up an hour later with limes. Her nephew Garvin has a taxi and provided transportation when we didn't want to use the mini-buses ($1.50 EC). He showed us a great place to snorkel on Lower Bay. This is not a place like the Corona commercial, where you sit on a wide beach in a lounger and have your drinks brought to you. But it has a unique charm. We had a wonderful time.
