I think we were in the night of previous review and they had a lucky escape. We were a party of 7 that had booked on what is traditionally the busiest night of the week. Chalet girls day off. There were only 3 other dining parries so about 15 people in room for 50. Waitress explained menu and apologised for...

Was really stunned when visiting restaurant 7.30 pm in January during really quiet period in resort and told that we could not eat there. Tables were laid not one person eating a few people drinking at the bar and staff member had to go and ask the chef it was ok for three people to eat and the answer was...

We had the best food we have ever had in a ski resort. As you can see from the pictures the presentation was 5 star as was the service from Gemma and her team. The hotel is located just off the slope that runs to the main gondola so it is very easy to get skiing. The hotel itself Is...

Stayed at the Hotel Telemark in January 15 as part of a large group of skiiers. The staff there are extremely friendly and always extremely helpful. The restaurant serves a basic menu with a couple of options each night, always well cooked and have never been disappointed with the food they serve up. The room was extremely small and the...

A last minute trip to La Tania booked via Chalets Direct Solutions Room at the Telemark. They organised the transfer from Geneva, remarkably quick 2 hours which gave me a quick afternoon ski on arrival. Rooms are small and basic, but clean and functional with plenty of sockets, and with plenty of hot water. The hotel has it's own friendly...

We tried the Telemark as it was conveniently located for our Chalet Staff night off. I must admit we were a bit doubtful but had the €25 plat du jour of baked camembert, lamb cutlets on mustard mash with heritage vegetables and a deconstructed Eton mess with as much house wine as you wanted – what a fantastic meal! So...

If you are looking for a clean, simple hotel close to the slopes with good food, the Telemark is perfect. We turned up unannounced and felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the door! Within minutes of being there our problems of finding food, drink, snowboard, liftpasses and a bed was dealt with- we couldn't ask for much more!...

Just back from a 4 day break on adult only ski holiday. Never stayed in La Tania before and thought it was absolutely beautiful. Brilliant base to explore the 3 valleys ski area. Good transfers from Geneva, just short of two hours. The hotel itself is basic in terms of the rooms and the bar but it is cheap and...

We have just returned from a few days away skiing with friends. The rooms in the hotel were compact but comfortable - more than ample for a few days away. Plenty of room to store all your kit and very clean. The food was absolutely fantastic - way above expectations. Afternoon tea and breakfast was plentiful. The staff were excellent...
