Sixth visit to this hotel for their Ladies Golf Break with 15 friends. The ambience, food and service as always was brilliant. This quirky hotel run by the Phillips family is delightful and although the weather was very unkind it did not stop us all enjoying ourselves. Roll on next year.

Amazing, beautiful hotel, well run and totally relaxing. I had booked a sea view room as a short break for my Mum and myself, we were not disappointed. The hotel is lovely, lots of original features, quaint essential English. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the sea, it was very spacious with an elegance of a previous era....

Just returned from the most relaxing weekend in a long while!! To celebrate a friends birthday family and friends had sole use of the hotel from Friday evening till Sunday. It was fabulous fun and I would love to arrange something similar and also escape here with family too! We were lucky to stay in the Tower Room no.22 on...

Booked this for a weekend getaway with golf. Not disappointed in anyway. Quaint Cornish hotel, simple and well executed, but really done well. Over looking the sea in a small cove. Very quiet in February. It is not a Marriott or similar but a fantastic rustic place. Food is well delivered, menu is really varied and well thought out, with...

As 5 ladies we contacted the hotel to see if we could organise a package for my mum's birthday that would involve a nice lunch and spa treatments. We were offered a deal for £85 to include £60 worth of treatments with sandwiches and cream tea, which we thought sounded reasonable. We also booked 2 nights bed and breakfast. The...

When we arrived the weather was awful but the views were amazing of the beach. The hotel is on top of the cliff so is in a wonderful position and has a really...

The hotel is situated on a clifftop with spectacular view of the bay. We arrived on a stormy day, and the view of the waves from our room was fantastic. The hotel is full of old fashioned character, one could say it needs updating, but this did not detract from the comfort of our stay or the friendliness of the...

The Hotel is in a fabulous location, Perched almost on the edge of a cliff with stunning grounds. There is nothing else around amenity wise and as some of us had traveled by train, no transport as such. The Hotel looks a little tired and the rooms are small but we didn't mind as we were hardly in them. We...

I came for a spa day that was bought for me as a birthday present. The location is great for the beach and I'm sure the views are stunning, but not so much on a wet and windy January day! I was given a warm welcome and taken down to the treatment room. There is a compact gym and the...

This hotel, the building is a grand old lady. However she has a spring in her Step! We stayed in room 11 overlooking the bay. Stunning views. The room was very comfortable well maintained and clean. We dined every evening, the meals were superbly presented and most agreeable. This hotel is off the beaten track, there is plenty to see...
