One night stay was very enjoyable. Check in was quick and efficient. Lovely room overlooking the grounds. Helpful staff in booking a taxi. The following morning a great cooked breakfast. What's not to like?

We stayed here for one night and there is no way this hotel is a four star hotel. The hotel rooms are very dated, the grounds are over grown and the standard of the facilities are poor (we wandered their grounds which took all of 5 minutes, and played their small crazy golf course - we almost fell through it as the wood was so rotten!!). The drinks at the bar are over priced - £18 for two rum and cokes served in warm glasses. While the staff were trying their best with what they had there was no management visible and they all seemed pretty embarrassed - mostly junior staff. If we had to think of one positive about this hotel it would be that the showers were hot - if you want to pay £100+ for a warm shower, stay here... otherwise there are lots of other alternatives that will be far more enjoyable.

I cannot thank Alexa and the staff at the hotel enough for our perfect wedding. We were originally getting married at the hotel in March but due to lockdown this was not possible. The hotel was brilliant. No problem moving the date as many times as we needed with no stress. We had a small Covid secure wedding in December and it was simply perfect. The food was amazing, guests still comment on how lovely the canapés were and how much food there was. Big thanks to Patrick and Doreen who truly went above and beyond to help us during the day and keeping our guests happy. The bridal suit was lovely, clean and huge with a separate living room which made getting ready super easy. Even with the pandemic there's nothing I would change about our wedding day.
