What a treat to stay in this lovingly and authentically restored home. Earlsferry House in Bassendean is so handy to the Swan River wineries, historic Guildford and the train station is only a five minute walk. The inexpensive, local and very regular train service made getting in and out of Perth and continuing on the same train line on down...

We were initially shocked to realise the house is nestled between the main road and the railway line on opposite boundaries. The road did not have large trucks and the railway was away from the station and road crossings so the noise was minimal We are good sleepers so no issue for us If you are a light sleeper, then...

My husband and I stayed here for one night in the River Room. We could not have been happier with the accommodation or the service we received. Arriving on a wet and cold winters night we were invited in to a cosy warm room and made to feel instantly welcome. The house and its contents are fascinating and with the...

We stayed one night at Earlsferry for a birthday getaway in the Swan Valley area. Jane and Martin were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Verandah room which was spacious and the ensuite bathroom was modern and very clean. The room looked like maybe the smallest of them all but was still really roomy and had everything you...

We stayed in the 'river room' for 3 nights at this beautiful home on the banks of the Swan River. The room was very spacious and led onto the balcony with views over the lovely garden and river. The house is close to the Swan Valley wineries and Perth hills which were blessed with a vast array of wildflowers while...

We stayed one night in the very spacious Billiard room, which has a modern ensuite attached. The house is gorgeous and the garden is filled with delightful sculptures. It has views over the Swan River and the railway line. Despite also being near quite a big road we didn't notice the noise. The owners were lovely and gave the girls...
