Not only is the chalet beautiful, but so are the hosts. They are so warm and welcoming, and make a huge effort to get to know their guests, and ensure their comfort. We had such an amazing time getting to know Suzie and Pascal and thoroughly enjoyed sharing dinners with them. It also doesn't hurt that the scenery is breathtaking... More

We stayed for three nights at Chalet Chatelet for our 1 year anniversary. We could not have asked for anything better. The views all around the chalet are spectacular and easy drive to abondance with local shops and great sunday market. Our room ' vive la France' was very comfy and spacious with a huge french style bed and bathtub... More

Chalet Chatelet is a little piece of alpine heaven. I have just returned from a weekend break to visit the Tour de France. It is clearly a labour of love for Pascal and Suzie who built the Chalet from the ground up. They've done a wonderful job, not only is it the stunning location or the style, it is the... More

What a wonderful weekend! Chalet was beyond our expectations, food was truly delicious, Suzy is an amazing host & the whole experience was great value! The suites were huge & the evening spent in the hot tub drinking beer overlooking the valley as the sun went down will live long in the memory!

We could not have asked for better hosts - Suzie and Pascal were so welcoming and kind - nothing was too much trouble. Suzie catered for us each evening and the food was nothing short of fabulous - we were... More

Had a great time while staying at the Chalet for five nights. The town is small, but there is easy access to nearby Abondance and many ski resorts. Great breakfast of croissants, cheeses, meats, yogurt, fruit, granola, etc. Would also highly recommend and homemade dinner with Suzie and Pascal.

It's the perfect place for a group ski trip or a more personal getaway. Wake up to the sound of cowbells in summer or the quiet of snow in winter. You will feel at home... More

Our brief stay with the delightful hostess Suzie in November has certainly wet the appetite for a longer stay. It was a magical experience waking up in the luxurious bedlinen and comfort of the well appointed room to the tinkling of cow bells sashaying down the green slopes.(The following weekend the attractive eco-friendly chalet was shrouded in snow offering its... Our visit was in June, so we can't add to the reviews of winter activities, but can confirm that regardless of season, this is a wonderful experience. We were in France for two weeks, and planned this as our first stop after flying to Geneva from the US, with the goal of quiet time to adjust to time zone change... More

The Tulikivi super-efficient log-burning stove with its bread oven radiates heat 24/7 during winter months and is situated in the centre of the large living room with a state of the art home cinema, comfy sofas and six place dining table. For large numbers, we serve the evening meal in the dining room on the ground floor where you also have access to an infrared sauna with jet shower. Outside we have a large garden set back off the road, surrounded by agricultural land, with an outdoor hot tub for the ski season, table tennis and table football.
