The person who greeted us at this pension Could not of been more welcoming. She did a great job in tracking our luggage from the previous hotel. The problem is that we were expecting a higher standard of accommodation during our Camino walk. We were handed vouchers and given directions to the restaurant to have both our breakfast and dinner....

What a great house! Beautiful, and antique. Only problem was that me and my family had a few problems. 1st was that we had NO privacy! The window pretty much viewed the bar, and people can see you while you have a bathroom. We used some bed linen to cover it up. If there actually were curtains or blinds, that...

We made our way here on the Camino walk. Once checked in we were given little information and our room was a cordoned off area from the front door. On multiple occasions other guests tried to enter via our door. The rooms are cold and damp- no heating in the bedroom at all and the old blankets gave us hayfever....

...at the end of the Camino. I was not impressed with any of the accommodation on offer and had been handed an simple 'flyer' as I walked the last few kms of the day, I would usually ignore these forms of advertisement but found myself walking down the streets of the 'old town' looking for Casal de Calma, I walked...

Recently stayed here with 2 friends while walking the camino. Staff, especially Orlando could not have been more welcoming, lovely comfortable old style bedroom. Fab outside area to relax in and a lovely little old world bar. I would go out of my way to stay there again, and such good value.

This enchanting country home next door to the church has been turned into a gorgeous place to stay. Each room has unique antique features which make the hotel feel like a private home. We loved it here and recommend it to anyone walking or biking El Camino.

If you decide to stay in a family owned house instead of the usual albergue, the Casal de Calma is as good as it gets! José, the owner, and Orlando, the manager, were fabulous hosts and made us feel this was our home on the last day of the Camino. We even brought tapas to the house and enjoyed a...

We adored our time at Casal de Calma! Our family was nearing the end of the Camino. We were looking at lodging on the main drive and were not impressed. We saw a little sign for the Casal de Calma and decided to investigate. We are so glad we did. We were greeted by a lovely woman who was able...
