I have been going back to Introdacqua for many years and Antonella's B&B is where I stay. You will always receive a warm welcome from her. We are always treated like family. The rooms are spotless and charming. She even makes pizzelle for my kids. If you need anything, extra towels etc., Antonella will procure it for you On a recent trip, my mom fell and got injured. She and her kind husband Lino helped me get to the hospital to visit her. One night Lino started playing guitar in the little piazzetta and with Antonella and a couple of friends, the evening turned into a mini performance. All I can say is that staying here, restores my lo sanity.
My family and I made the trip to Introdacqua from Rome to trace our heritage. We stayed at Antonella's B&B for one night and were very happy to have made this choice. The B&B is in the heart of this charming little mountain town, just around the corner from the comune and within walking distance of everything. The spacious interior was well appointed, clean and perfectly set up for our group of 7, and the views from the two small balconies were breathtaking. More than that, Antonella was a wonderful hostess. Although there was a language barrier, we were able to communicate in a combination of broken Italian and English. Antonella went out of her way to make us feel at home, from arranging lunch for us at a nearby restaurant to accompanying us around town in search of our relatives' exact places of birth. We also opted for the optional breakfast, and Antonella showed up in the morning with an armful of homemade 'dolce' and proceeded to whip up a delicious spread in our kitchen. In short, Antonella helped us immerse ourselves in the charm and tradition of this wonderful little town, giving us an unforgettable glimpse into the history of our family.…
Our stay at Antonella's was by far our one of our best experiences in Italy. It is set up more like an apartment than a room, which is quite nice compared to the cramped spaces you might pay double for elsewhere. The views from our space were fantastic, with tons of greenery and the mountains are so close it felt like you could reach out and touch them! Antonella's cooking is incredible and she was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. All in all, Antonella made us feel very comfortable and welcome, as well as went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. If you visit the Abruzzo region, you must stay here!
We came to this town because my husband was looking for his past as his grandmother was born there, we first drove up not being able to find the place. Not knowing a word of Italian but myself having french helped understand a bit so we went into the Nerocaffe pub and asked for help, the bartender was so nice!! He walked us right up to the B & B!! Even though we had a very big language block, it was the best time!! Antonella did everything to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and the rest of the town did as well!! I would recommend everyone who travels in Italy to go to Introdacqua and stay at Antonella's place.
We recently stayed at B&B Antonella and had a wonderful experience. Antonella the owner was very accommodating and was a wonderful host. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to stay in Introdacqua which is accessible by bus and train from Rome.
