We enjoyed our stay here and found it was the ideal spot to stay before starting our Abel Tasman track walk. Our room was comfortable, cosy, clean and relaxing. We even had a yoga mat to do some stretching . The outlook over the garden was lovely and I enjoyed hearing the tui sing. The track walk was awesome and...

We've stayed at the Abel Tasman Lodge before and wanted to come back as we loved the place so much the first time. Scott and Jocelyn, the new owners, have made this place even better!! The cabins are very spacious, very nicely decorated, have everything you need and are very clean and tidy. The location in Marahau is just awesome,...

If you are planning on walking the Abel Tasman National Park, then you could not choose a better location. The lodge is right at the entrance. After a long drive from Hamner Springs, we arrived to a lovely, informative but low key welcome. Room is spacious inside with a lovely seating area outside. The room itself is clean, fresh with...

Owners Joce and Scott, originally from Auckland, gave up successful advertising careers in London in order to raise their daughter, now five, as a Kiwi in the lush and laid back community of Marahau. They've done a great job with the place, which is beautifully landscaped, artfully decorated and feels like a family lodge, with communal kitchen and much-welcomed laundry...

Firstly don't miss Abel Tasman park on your visit to the South Island. Absolutely stunning waterfront and coastal scenery with great access by hiking, kayaking and water taxi. Secondly, stay at Abel Tasman Lodge ... incredible value for modern crisp accommodation with all amenities. Scott and Jocelyn have created a "green Oasis" with such comfortable accommodation so close to the...

We stayed at the Lodge in May and loved the accomodation and the area. We had a one bedroom unit which was very clean and comfortable. The managers were very helpful and friendly. It is very close to spectacular parts of the Abel Tasman National Park.

Best bed and pillows in our entire stay in the South Island. The shower is space saving and terrific. I want one at home. The room had a lovely garden outlook. The lodge is central to the park and the 2 cafes and offers great self catering options but the breakfast delivered is good value if you arrive with no...

Great place to stay if you are having an adventure in the Abel Tasman. Very clean and tidy. Our room had a lovely little deck out the back which was great for enjoying a cold beverage after a long day of exploring the trail. Will definitely be back!!
