Hard to know where to start. We used this for a two night stay for a wedding, and it was the best choice we made. The house is a simply beautiful old cotswold stone thatched house, with a converted barn as an annex all overlooking a beautiful garden. Both are immaculately furnished, with plenty of room to relax for visitors....

Delightful traditional cottage with a beautiful garden in the pretty village of Staverton. My twin room in the annexe was lovely - extremely comfortable bed, large deep bath with endless piping hot water and quality toiletries. Delicious breakfast. The host, Liz, was very welcoming and helpful; it felt like staying as a guest in a friend's home.

Beautiful cottage with first class facilities. Liz is the perfect host. We stayed in the annex and on the first night had the whole cottage to ourselves. Such luxury. Rooms are well equipped and filled with the most beautiful collection of antiques. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. Everything you could wish for. We hope to be back very...

A lovely stone built cottage, part of which has a thatched roof. Beautiful antique furniture, attractive oil paintings, collections of china, very comfortable bed and a good soak in the bath contributed to our enjoyment of a very peaceful and relaxed stay. We enjoyed our breakfast which was beautifully served by Sarah, who has a lovely smile and is very...

Probably the best B&B in the Uk. The rooms are so comfortable and Liz the host is so considerate. My mum stayed for 10 days as a result. My mum [87], claims it is the best nights sleep she has had in ages! The location is extremely quiet, in 17th century accommodation, and is very quiet. This is Daventry's best...

Colledges house is in the beautiful village of Staverton. Although we got in late from the airport the owner stayed up and was only to happy to accomodate. Breakfast was great in a very social atmosphere and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Looking forward to my next stay.

My friend and I were each given a most comfortable double room in the cottage at single room rates. Unfortunately,Liz, the owner, had just come home after surgery but her helper, Sarah, gave us the warmest of welcomes and looked after us extremely well. From the luxurious towels and fine bed linen to the beautiful furnishings and garden, we felt...

Over the years I have stayed at a good number of B&Bs, both in the UK and overseas. Colleges is one of the best I've visited, if not the best! Liz is a very friendly and welcoming hostess, the rooms excellently appointed and the breakfasts just what you would want. The village itself has a lovely Northamptonshire charm and well...
