My fiancée and I stopped off here on our way deeper into Scotland for afternoon tea...... We also happen to be getting married here next November! :) Anyway, we'd booked an afternoon tea and when it arrived after we'd had a walk around the grounds and castle, it was huge. Everything was delicious and fresh, with more sandwiches and cakes... More

Me and my husband were married at the castle on 19th November, from the moment we all started to arrive the all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they really could not do enough for us all. You were made to feel at home. Our day went perfectly and all ran to plan. The... More

We stayed here for a weekend get-a-way with evening meal and breakfast. Good quaint little bar area, lovely grounds and garden and in the middle of nowhere.. but that's its appeal. Loved the dated, old castle style room... I do think it could have had a few modern extras though and combined the old with the new. However no complaints;... More

We arrived late and we're greeted by John the night porter who was amazing. We were in Scotland for a couple of days and this night set the scene for us, it was great. We were given a guided tour of the castle at 1:30am and the best bar service you could imagine. Our morning was started with a fantastic... More

Sometime 5 stars are just not enough, this is one of those times. My wife and I fell in love with this castle two years ago when we first visited it. The venue is far from home however nothing local even came close. The staff are a credit to the Castle, everyone putting in 110% effort to make your stay... More

We have just returned from my son's wedding at Comlongon and I can't speak highly enough of the castle as a venue. From the beautiful and atmospheric ceremony room with its banners, stained glass and huge log fire to the unique and individual bedrooms, not to mention gardens which lent themselves so wonderfully to photography, it truly surpassed our expectations.... My new husband and I fell in love with the castle last year when we visited to scope it out as a potential wedding venue. We had high hopes and as such the place had a lot to live up to and I can honestly say the staff and the place blew us away, they were amazing. The castle itself... More
