I recently attending a wedding at the castle and cannot begin to describe how good it was. Every aspect of the day was fantastic. The staff were brilliant, the food was fantastic and the venue was stunning. I didn't sleep at the castle so cannot comment on the accommodation but the reports from friends and family that stayed over were...

We had a lovely stay at Comlongon Castle, 1 adult, 2 children and two dogs. We had a large family room (very clean) and enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast. It was great value for money and the staff were helpful and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and we all enjoyed the three mile walk with the dogs. We look...

Fantastic old hotel but it needs a lot of money invested to bring it up to meet the prices it charges. The restaurant food was average but not worth what was being charged The lone young barman was very pleasant but untrained and struggled with a wedding party. The room was big but tired the bed was just hanging together....

We stopped here for one night on our way back home to Scotland (2 adults; 2 children - 2 and 6) and had a fantastic time. The boys loved looking around all the grounds and rooms, looking at all the swords, suits of armour and feeding the large Koi in the pond. The castle was also great to have a...

Recently stayed at Comlongon Castle as a wedding guest. Impressive castle and beautiful grounds and location. Staff extremely friendly, BUT not enough staff and they appear to be poorly trained. Had to wait for quite some time to check in whilst the receptionist(?) ran this way and that apparently sorting out other things. The suite was quite large and comfortable,...

We had all the rooms in the hotel booked and we stayed in the Honeymoon Lodge. The first night on the Friday, they did an impromptu meal for us all as people were arriving late...

I stayed here on a Friday night in January. The room was large with a big four poster bed, which was very comfy. Also a large bathroom with a lovely deep roll top bath. The food which I had for dinner and breakfast was delicious. But best of all we're the staff at this hotel. They were so welcoming and...
