Stayed overnight. The hotel stands on its own in a rural location beside a main road. We thought the proximity of the road and the frequency of whisky trucks hurtling by might create a noise problem but it wasn't. There's a lovely view across the valley worth taking in - weather permitting. The room was comfortable and the restaurant provided...

We stayed here for two nights whilst walking the Speyside Way (including the Tomintoul Spur). The hotel is a couple of miles outside of Ballindalloch which made the Tomintoul Spur a shorter day, which was nice as it was the longest day we had on our itinerary - however, of course, that made the previous and next days both longer....

My boss and myself visit the North of Scotland fairly regularly for business visits. We came across the Delnashaugh Hotel by chance. We found it to be excellent value for money, the rooms are very comfortable, with everything you require, especially an iron and ironing board as we were wearing business suits. The food was home made, piping hot with...

En route between mountain biking adventures and enjoying a drive through whisky county, I found this gem - simple, reasonable price, good food, and great whisky selection in the bar. It's peaceful and people are nice ...

The location situated in the Speyside region of the Highlands is a delight. The food selection in the restaurant and presentation was outstanding and was given with excellent service. Good wine selection and a nice range of Malts at the bar. At the end of the day the most important part was we slept peacefully in a very comfortable bed...

What a turn round since my last visit. Polite and friendly staff. Great food at fair prices, wines ok, whisky selection worthy of a few nights sampling. Dinner, roast duck salmon, meat pie and lamb shank very well cooked and presented. Breakfast, freshly cooked to order great. Rooms, there is a process of refurbishment but the rooms we had were...

Stayed for one night whilst walking the Speyside Way with my husband and our dog. Loved this place. A couple of miles from the railway line of the Speyside Way, it's location can be off putting if walking but it is more than worth the extra mile. The views are spectacular, we had a lovely sunny day which helped and...

Booked in for seven days as part of a birthday treat visit to Scotland's Whisky Trail. The hotel is very homely and well situated on the Malt Whisky Trail, in the heart of Speyside. It's well placed for the Cragganmore, Glenlivet and (my favourite) Glenfarclas distilleries. The rooms were very comfortable and ours really felt like a home from home....

We came across this hotel when we were looking for a much needed coffee after driving for some time. We sat on the outside tables (as we had our dog with us) with a lovely peaceful view. The coffee was lovely and we had the most amazing piece of clootie dumpling! The young lady was very friendly and helpful. We...

“The cottage style annex has two beautiful bedrooms with a small interconnecting hallway which, for us, was ideal as it allowed the kids to have their own room next to our own with the dog sleeping in the hallway. Just ideal really.”
