Eyam is a picturesque, historical village with greta walks and beautiful country. This pub is a bit tired in appearance, almost dull but the food lifts it. The choice is excellent, including great and cvaried specials, and the portions are v generous. There's also a good selection of guest beers. So it's worth a visit and on a summer day/evening...

I did not get as far as making a booking as the man on the 'phone was abrupt and rude and I put the phone down. I was totally polite with my enquiries and he had a tetchy unhelpful manner. I am sure it is a lovely pub and village but this has put us off.

I visit eyam with my family annually and we have eaten here every year for the last 7 years. It is in a lovely spot and very quiet. The meals can be eaten outside, in the bar and in the restaurant. We sat in the restaurant as it was quiet so less chance of our 2 year old disturbing anyone...

Stayed at the Miners arms during the bank holiday weekend and cannot say enough about our wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help. They provided us with porridge, juice, bread and jam in the room for our breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning for...

I was brought up in Eyam but haven't been back for ages since my parents died. So taking my daughter in law(who'd never been) and son back there it was wonderful to see that the Miners hadn't really changed too much and its still the welcoming friendly pub it always was. We had lunch there and the portions are HUGE...

We called in with a couple of friends for lunch one day last week. We didn't arrive until about 1-45pm but no problem. We ordered and in no time at all we were served with our meals. Food was excellent, piping hot and well presented. Portions were generous. Service was good and the meal offered excellent value for money. Also,...

Had lunch in the Miners Arms today. We turned up at 1.30; just behind the other parties ask of whom had just ordered food. We bought our beers and sat down, and only ten minutes later or meals were served. The barmaid was friendly and helpful and constantly on the go. We both ordered Fish and Chips. The batter on...

Popped in on a Wednesday evening with the wife and in-laws. Two of us had the ham steak and chips, one had liver and bacon and the other the tuna and mozzarella fish cakes. Everybody enjoyed their food, service was good and the price was reasonable.

This pub is a gem of a place, the food is sensational and the staff are freindly and welcoming. They have real ales on draft and they are really well kept. The food is very reasonable and it tastes amazing. Really worth a visit.

Reasonable pub grub and a nice pint of beer. Not gastropub but the food is what you would expect for a pub. Wide variety of choices on the menu and generous portions with lots of vegetables and chips on the side. We were very happy with the service.
