#1 of 3 B&Bs / Inns in Gussago
EXCITING AS AN ADVENTURE, INTERESTING AS A MUSEUM, WELCOMING AS A HOME. B&B Torre de Salis In the year of the Lord 1087 the noble Oddone de Salis, descending from a family that took its name from an historic Lombard settlement, donated numerous properties to the monks of the Monastery of Pontida, keeping for itself the castle built in the locality of Sale. This ancient tower-house that has survived and passed through the centuries, has seen men and women of all ages walk among its walls, built in the 10th century. Today, with the passionate and loving preservation of the current owners, we offer the sense of protection, warmth and charm emanating from these millennial stones.

By sheer chance, we were lucky enough to stay in this fabulous B&B, Torre de Salis, in Gussago, near to Brescia. This place is WOW, in every aspect, worthy of a side trip just to stay here. Our host, Guilia, grew up in this rambling stone pile of history, the house of her grandfather. Guilia is the creator of the B&B and clearly has sunk her heart and soul into it. Packed full of treasures, family pieces and collected, we definitely felt at home. Breakfast was a fantastic collection of typical Emilia Romagna favorites, with ingredients from their own gardens and beautifully served in lovely rooms. Our room was across the courtyard from the main house, unbelievably quiet and the epitome of comfortable. Amenities amenities, amenities! We'll be back!!!

Was es ganz bewusst nirgends gibt: Fernsehgeräte.
