Another lovely stay at the Cliff House, this time being able to take advantage of sunny weather in October! What a wonderful place to sit outside with one (or two) of the Cliff House's famous gin and tonics, and a cosy blanket, enjoying the ever-changing view and the sea air. Our bedroom was very comfortable and breakfast was a joy...

A group of 11 of us took over all seven bedrooms of The Cliff House for a weekend and had a great time. We used the restaurant on one of our evenings; it's obvious the bar and restaurant are a popular local amenity and this gave the place a real buzz. Our meal was excellent and I appreciated they had...

I can not find Words enough to say how much I enjoyed the time spent here! The position (right on the clifftop, looking out to sea)was wonderful and we made full use of the patio area. The breakfasts were great(especially the kedgeree) and nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived we were made very welcome , and after settling...

Relaxed surfy interiors, lovely staff, amazing views - a lot of effort has been made to ensure all visitors have a relaxing stay..The food was great too. Only one criticism, we had a room at the...

Just a single night. It's a wonderful location, with great views of the Isle of Wight from the garden, and the decor and general style of the hotel is nice, as was the breakfast. However, staffing seems a bit hit and miss, I waited a long time to check in. Also, there is a gentleman, I guess the owner, who...

We stayed one night and the room was simple but good. We also had an aperitif (try one of their gin and tonics), dinner (served with good wine) and breakfast (prepared a la carte instead of buffet) in the restaurant, which was very delicious and served by friendly staff. Definitely recommended for a weekend break near the beach and New...
