My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago on our honeymoon. It was our last spot after spending 2 weeks traveling through London and Paris. It was the PERFECT place to decompress and relax for 5 nights before heading back to the "real world". I often times think of this wonderful spot where we spent our days relaxing on...

We stayed two nights in a huge room with lovely facilities. The hotel manager Marcos was very helpful with local recommendations and information. Hotel is on a quiet road with views of the mountains. Great base for walking the Agia Irini gorge and local ferries to other resorts.

We had a very clean and spacious one bedroom apartment. Fridge in apartment contained a welcome minibar with a few very reasonably priced beers and soft drinks. Any problems were speedily resolved by exceptionally helpful host, Markos. Continental breakfast served in hotel foyer. Guests could choose to breakfast at outside tables in front of hotel or take breakfast to their...

The rooms are big, fully equipped in the kitchen, small balcony, good air condition, nice furnished sleeping room, safe, WIFI, and over all: Markos hosts you with knowledge about Crete and where to dinner in Sougia, very helpful information. The hotel is in the hamlet of Sougia and an excellent base for hiking, with nice routes along the east coast, west coast and a gorge from the doorstep; and ferry boats offering possibilities beyond this (including Samaria gorge, although we think Irini gorge, just up the road, is a more attractive although less well know walk). The hotel itself...

After a beautiful drive through some stunning scenery we arrived at the lovely village of Sougia. We were greeted by a very friendly couple who explained everything we needed to know in a direct but charming way. The hotel had everything that we required clean, roomy and great views, with complimentary breakfast, as we were first time visitors. We will...
