The food was great, the staff very pleasant and the courtyard with the imposing Chateau building looked most impressive. We wondered why the accommodation was in the converted stable block. The room was fine with everything we needed for a night's stay. We had to venture down the outside staircase and across the courtyard to access the bar and restaurant....

We were greeted very well and were surprised that they upgraded us to a suite in the main building for our 4 nights (it was actually done to accommodate other guests who requested basic rooms for shorter stays). As nice as it seemed, the ONLY and best part was the private terrace with a wonderful view of the vineyards. It...

We stayed here for one night with another couple we were traveling with. We chose it as we wanted to stay somewhere authentic. The rooms were completely new, and not in a good way. There was no air conditioning, they were tiny and the color scheme from the 70s. I am sorry if you only need air con for one...

We stopped here en route to Spain, as it's 5 mins from the motorway. What a find and it exceeded am expectations. The location is secluded, set in a pretty little village and surrounded by vineyards. The chateau has been very lovingly restored. We were upgraded from two rooms to a very spacious apartment with private garden. We relaxed by...

Lovely view from room. Hotel quiet and well placed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Not able to put Cresse into Sat Nav. Leave Peage at 28 and it is easy to locate but it is a puzzle why TomTom cannot locate the village as it is not small.

We are travelling as a group of four, two couples and thought it was a good idea to reserve an apartment for two at the Chateau. Excellent! Great welcome and we were shown to the apartment. First class. Two bedroom, one en suit, the other with a large bathroom opposite. Huge lounge, dining area and kitchen. Great concept but the...

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais, this is a very nice Hotel, and their staff were very friendly on arrival. our room which we thought was a standard double, was in fact a split level junior suit, and very modern in its design. My feeling about this place is they really are trying to...

We stayed in the "modern" part of the hotel which is in a separate building from the castle. Designed by a Swiss architect, the rooms look more or less as a upscale Ibis. Bright colours, very small rooms, very small bathroom. Not in line with the expectations of staying at a "chateau" in the Bourgogne. Staff is very friendly, however...

We spent one night there while on a business trip. Lovely countryside. Very good rooms though not in the actual chateau. We arrived in time for free wine tasting. Service was very good and staff friendly. However the issue we have is with the restaurant which we felt was a little pretentious and as it was a business trip not...

Great place, nestled in the middle of vineyards with a mighty view. A renovated castle with all the modern amenities that you need as a traveller. The hotel staff is friendly, competent and very professional. The rooms are contemporary, well furnished and nicely designed with high beams which bring character to the rooms. Avoid the restaurant! Impossible to guess what we've...
