We took two rooms recently at Chateau Boiscoursier and stayed for the one night on our way driving south to Spain. Our party consisted on two boys of 9 and 6, myself and a set of grandparents, so quite a mixed bunch. Anyhow, the welcome seemed genuine and no request was too much trouble. The kids played in the pool,...

Great place to relax a couple of days. We stayed for 5 days, just like last year. Great area to experience the real France. A true country side trip for city folks. :-) The kids really enjoyed the vast domain to play on. There's one local bar for food and drinks in Chateau Larcher (approx.5km) where we hung out every...

A fantastic place to stop off on a long journey or like us somewhere to enjoy a wonderful night away - 30 minutes up the road. Real...

The room was huge, with a superb modern Italian bathroom,...

I booked this one night stop over en route to Bergerac. It was sensational. The setting, the hosts, the breakfast - all were superb! We enjoyed our picnic dinner in the garden and marvelled at the history of the chateau. We felt priviledged to stay in such a wonderful place. We had the family room with en suite bathroom which...

A perfect, peaceful place to rest for a night while driving down France. The house, garden and hosts were delightful. We found ourselves wondering what we could find to do in the local area to justify staying for a few days next time. Perfect if you're looking for tranquility and relaxation and are more impressed by antique furnishings and fresh...
