Took my Australian cousins for Sunday lunch while they were over visiting and they said it was the best food they had had since they came! The views are amazing and the dining room is lovely. We sat in the bar as it was so busy but it was still amazing. This is not fast food! Everything is made to...

Had a bite to eat here while at the Finghall village fete, first time I've been here, Beautiful village and a proper British pub, well kept beers and a very tasty meal, we were a large group so pre ordered, the service was very good, definitely will visit again when I'm out that way.

Our family of 7 and two kids settled into the comfy sofas while having drinks and the waitress taking our orders in the friendly relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the ham hockey terrine as a starter and beef as my main. The staff accommodated us well and the timing of the main course after the starters was just right. The beef...

My wife and I spent a memorable, quiet and restorative, night here on Tuesday, 17 May 2016 . The room is very spacious and comfortable; nothing is missing for the guests’ comfort. The king size bed is luxurious and tea and coffee making facilities conveniently laid out, no contortions with short cord to the kettle or similar. Heating is available...

What a lovely experience. The food was fresh, well cooked and the portions were very generous. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The menu had a good selection of pub food but also a selection of more restaurant style meals. Will definitely be returning.
