The host has been very welcoming and patient despite our delay. We stayed in the bigger room, with a french windows that leads on the wonderful backyard with table and chairs to enjoy the panorama. The bathroom is big and very clean, the only complaint was the bidet not working, we hope they can repair it :) The area is...

I stayed there a couple of nights for work (due to a training session in Ciney). The place is great. It's very cozy and I felt like home after less than a hour. The breakfast was very nice (with home made juice, croissant, etc). The place to be if you want to stay in this area!

Stayed there for 4 nights. Conveniently located for most of the Ardennes attractions. Stayed in the big room. Very convenient and clean. We were missing a standing shower, which is better for my wounded knee, but we managed by taking a shower in the bath, without flooding the bathroom. Eating out on Tuesday and Wednesday nights was a problem. Almost...

Italian resorts have nothing on this beautiful accommodation in the Ardennes. From the Cresses room, French doors open on to your own porch with gorgeous views of the surrounding village and hillsides. The room is very large with an accompanying large, beautiful private bath. Across the street is a castle and very attractive medieval church. Interesting historic sites abound. The...

We spent 2 nights with the Dardenne family and from the moment they opened the front door to let us in, we felt completely at home. The room is spacious and very comfortable, like the wonderful original 70's bathroom with bidet and bathtub. The broad view over fields and grapevines of the house (they make their own wine!) is just...

We stayed for two nights in August before travelling on to Germany. Our room was very spacious with french windows leading onto a patio with a table and chairs overlooking a beautiful garden. It was very tranquil. The bathroom was large and well equipped. Everywhere was very clean. We enjoyed a generous breakfast with bread, meat ,cheese, jam and drinks....

I could certainly recommend this place to anyone who: - wants to relax and enjoy the view from the sunny terrace (to whom the Chambre des Cresses had direct access to) - likes home-made jams (ode to Nicole, for making them that tasteful!) in all sorts of variations, served on the same sunny terrace - bike around in the hills...

My wife and I spent 4 days chez Ardenne during the warmest late September on record. It could not have been more pleasant. Although Pierre and Nicole went away shortly after our arrival we were extremely well looked after by their son Nicholas. The house is a delight and the larger of the two rooms we occupied had access to...

I stayed one night while driving from Italy to the UK and It was a very welcome rest. The place is absolutely stunning and I had a very pleasant stay. Mr and Mrs. Dardenne were great hosts and I could not have wished for better.
