What a hidden gem. We booked a family room and delivered exactly what we wanted. Only negative is that there needs to be more comfy chairs downstairs. Great meals, poached eggs not quite right first breakfast but once lovely lady (presume owner) found right pot lol perfect eggs next day. Wonderful friendly staff would definitely stay again. View goes without...

We stayed for three nights in a family unit because my mother toured with us, and our stay cost significantly more than we anticipated (see later for details). Because the stairs to the top floor were difficult for a senior citizen, my wife and I slept above, leaving my mom to sleep in the "main" bedroom. The beds were comfortable,...

Forget about everything else. The views from your room are fantastic. To be able to watch the sunrise from your room will blow you away. The rooms were great apart from a tatty old green chair in the corner. Please bin it. The staff at breakfast were very helpful, prepared to cook anything we wanted

Be sure not to go to the Stag's Head attached to this hotel. We bought 2 meals with drinks. Spent $40. Used the wifi to check our emails after eating whilst having our drinks. Overheard the manager very rudely complaining, complete with a string of swear words, about people 'sitting here all night on their -expletive- Facebook all night; I'm...

We are sorry about this misunderstanding that took place. It seems you misheard the Manager and an apology was given at the time. We do offer free WiFi to our guests so that they can use the facilities and make themselves at home in a comfortable environment.

We stayed in an apartment with two teens. Very comfy beds! We had a few mishaps with the kettle (x3) but nothing was too much trouble from the wonderful staff. Great bath/shower it had everything we needed. The burgers at Sailz are definitely a must, they are the best! Absolutely stunning sunrise if you can brave the chill.

Just the second time we stayed at Lake Hawea Hotel with a Grab one deal both time with Continental breakfast included. This was nice mid winter break for us and the views spectacular as always. Unfortunately the Hotel service has slipped and not that welcoming also a bit slack with service and friendliness. Still the views from the lodges made...

You get an incredible lake view. A good getaway place away from the busy city life. It's about a 10 min drive to wanaka where all the restaurants are. This hotel did have a restaurant that we did not get to try. Lea was very helpful and accommodating. The room is spacious. Wifi is a little blotchy and turned off...

We book this hotel via Booking. com. I am surprised they did not allow to write the review in booking. This hotel has a good location close to the lake. But it is not equipped as good as we expect. First, we arrived at around 1930 and it is dark in autumn, but this is the only one hotel which...

Family room with full lake view. Great room size, bed was very comfortable, roomy bathroom facilities, easy parking and onsite dining. There is a well equiped take away shop just metres down the road too. The lake is magnificent and we enjoyed walking along the lakes edge at dusk. Would recommend staying to others.
