My husband and myself have just spent two nights at the enchanting Gwydir Castle.
We stayed in the Kings Room, full of (proper) antiques and completely retaining all the original charm and 'shabby chic-ness' that a castle room of that age should do!
As many have said, this is not your typically B&B experience. A one night stopover was a perfect stay length for us. We were able to roam the gardens in the evening, and privately tour the castle after breakfast. The antiquity of the King's Room...More
