Daughter and I stayed for 3 nights over weekend. Hotel was clean and tidy. Twin room was very spacious, good view of the hills. Could have done with some teaspoons rather than stirrers in the room as we had brought porridge pots, but that's just a minor thing. Great location, walked to Snowdonia Forest Park in about 20 minutes. Will come back some day.

What a little gem of a place. Easy to find, easy to park, walking distance to town and some lovely parks. The room was lovely and clean with cute little toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. The entrance hall was well done with an area to eat with microwave, tea and coffee and a selection of treats with an honesty box. Such a lovely touch. The file in the room was informative and it was a great base to explore the gorgeous area,

The Room was perfect, spacious and cosy, with all the amenities we needed. We was well looked after by the hosts, they gave us a bigger room and made sure the room was warm when we arrived. The communication pre visit was spot on. Highly recommend a stay here.

Misunderstanding about what type of facilities available. From the images shown on booking.com I was expecting use of a modern lounge and dining area where we could self cater. Instead we had use of an old, uninviting room with a couple of chairs and a microwave, honesty bar and plastic cutlery. The room was basic, beds were comfortable, tv was tiny but functional. It provided somewhere to sleep but no comfortable seating or relaxation area. We didn’t see any hotel staff throughout our stay. Quite disappointing and not really good value for money-paid £10 more for a 4star room with spa facilities in Chester!

We had a really great time at the Meadowsweet Hotel. The room was beautifully set, well decorated and clean. The owner was very welcoming - and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs! 100% would recommend a stay here when visiting Llanwrst or Snowdonia in general.

This is a cute concept - an oldish hotel from another generation, preserved & converted into a self-service bedroom and shared lounge with an honor bar. Very retro...my only complaint in the Fall is the room is a little dull once it gets dark, as the furniture is dark brown and of its age. Well located for both the mountains to the South and Bodnant Gardens and the coast to the North. Grab and go continental breakfast available , but a bit later than might want in the Summer...I liked it as it is close to my relatives. I was going to say easy to find but name did not come up on Google Maps so I had to ask someone just like in the 1960s! It is on main road into town and has a good parking lot.

Selected a 'room with a view' - and it was excellent. Very convenient location for the cafes and pubs, also the great walks along the river or into the hills around. Meadowsweet ticks the boxes for those who wish for independant accommodation. which is very clean and well recommended. ( No food at present) Llanrwst is a lovely Market Town (Tuesday) with a fine history and not as 'touristy' as other towns nearby. Don't forget to visit (or stay) in the Gwydr Castle.

Good location close to Snowdonia, the town is quiet but beautiful. The room was basic but very clean and the bed was comfortable. Only annoyance was that when booking I said we would arrive between 2-3 on booking.com which I thought was just a general guide for the hotel but we were then charged an extra £15 for the room.

Was climbing Snowden with work and stayed here the night before and was not disappointed. Check in was straightforward, ample parking to the side with the room was quiet, clean and very modern. Ideal location into town with walking routes around along the river and close to food stops and pubs. Will definitely recommend and stay again when in the area.
