Very convenient location even though well inland from the sea front. Good facilities in the hotel and at the adjacent service area and pub. Hotel seems very new and staff are very pleassnt and attentive. Also magnificent views from upper floors inland towards the Mendips.

Staff friendly. Bathroom could of been better. What looked like dog hairs left on the floor. Toilet seat moved & broke when sat on it. Shower curtain looked grubby at the bottom. Saying that would stay again as you get what you pay for & was ok for one night. Breakfast was great for the price. Good variety

Fairly basic but clean. The bed wasn't comfortable and on a -3 outside night, the room was cold with only a thin duvet (the aircon was too noisy to heat the room overnight). Given I didn't pay much, I am happy with it. A few noisy guests slamming doors shut at midnight. The shower was great, and clean, as was the room too. Tea on tap downstairs but kettle in room. Really poor mobile signal in my room so had to pay for wifi and use vpn to ensure security.

Out of centre location, but easy to find; good parking,(even more round the back). Accessible and dog-friendly rooms on ground floor. Quiet, warm family room, good breakfast (for a buffet). Easy access for walking dog.

The heating didn't work in the room. Other people had the same issue so several rooms had the same problem. They provided a fan heater which warmed the room but unevenly. The ensuite extractor fan didn't work, the table lamp didn't work and the soap dispenser was broken. I was given a partial refund. The room was clean. The reason it gets as much as 2* is that the staff were friendly and helpful and did their best given the circumstances.

Never normally review but I feel I have to. I travelled down to see family, upon arrival my family room only had one bed. Then the room we changed to was absolutely freezing. Woke up every day with people banging and making noise both inside and out. We booked the evening meal deal for each day but couldn’t eat this on one day due to having plans and the other two days we ate there it took over 3 hours to get our food( starter took one hour main an extra two!!) Rooms were not clean with hairs in the bath and stains all over the carpets. All in all absolutely horrible stay. Will never visit again

Only stayed here one night, but it was great little place to stay. Was made to feel very welcome. Had everything I needed, a bar and a nice breakfast in the morning. And it was close to where I visiting.
