We had 20 customers to Sandringham hotel weston last year..they all complained about there rooms and food but despite bad customer reviews.we rang yesterday to book more dates and were asked to speak to Ken or Stacey.. we actually spoke to Ken who had a bad attitude and bad customer service and telephone manner and said he would get back intouch the same day with prices .with which we heard nothin.so we have booked a better hotel for our customers.and will never use this hotel again Mr Chris Franklin The coach company Birmingham
The Sandringham was a mystery destination hotel and I was worried about it after reading some reviews. But our stay was great. The hotel is clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable . The meals were very good and the staff were lovely, The entertainment was excellent. Really good value for money. The two lifts were almost immediately available but as the hotel was previously 3 or 4 houses there were a couple of steps in places so that might matter to the less mobile. Warm, comfortable, clean hotel in a great location. Good food , entertainment and lovely staff. Can't think of anything negative and would choose the Sandringham every time.
Came to this hotel with a different tour operator than we are used to. Upon arrival, a lovely lady called Val helped my mother ( who is not good with stairs) from the coach and the step into the hotel. The food was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean. The entertainment was fab. Really had a great time.
Worst place we’ve ever stayed!!! The only good thing about this hotel was the nice view from the room and the location. Everything else was beyond poor. The entire place was tired, dated and looked like it was falling apart, we had an extremely uncomfortable bed, the bin still had rubbish in, either from a cleaner or the people in the room before us (cigarette packet etc), the shower would only run either boiling hot or freezing cold, the room was clean-ish but definitely not spotless, we got uttered a half hearted bye from whoever was on the desk when we checked out. I definitely wouldn’t consider this value for money at all and I’m annoyed that I wasted £85 here… terrible!!!!
OK it's not the premier but a beach road fronting tourist board rated dump called the Sandringham. Faulty towers is the Ritz compared to this place, no room service on weekends. Yellow wood dust powder along the windowsills in the dining area. It is not disabled friendly. trying to get an electric joystick wheelchair in it was a nightmare, had to leave it downstairs in the reception area charging bay as the lift only went to the first.& Having to negotiate the 30 mtrs up and down stairs along two very narrow corridors to our room whilst using two crutches was exceedingly difficult, A rabbit warren would have been easier to negotiate. We both found the bedsheets were packed with fine sand particles which is not very nice when you have a very sensitive skin due to life saving medication it was like trying to sleep on course sandpaper. Verdict a very down at heel low grade stop over Good news is whilst on my electric wheelchair I found a Greek restaurant within about 400 mtrs that actually served quality Greek style food , I would suffer the Sandringham again perhaps for another visit to Nick's but suspect if I ever go back there it will be to stay at the Premier some distance from the beach…
Stayed recently as it was in a good location. This has to be one of the worst stays in WSM in over 20 years. On arrival we were given our room, very dated and grubby. Smelt of damp and the walls are in a poor condition with plaster and pain peeling off. The room has the basics and nothing more. Our room was over the reception area so we could hear people coming in up until 03:00am drunk from the clubs. The Hotel caters for large groups of both Male and Female so be warned it’s noisy at night. The language on Saturday night from a Welsh male bowls team was awful and they were not youngsters, when we complained nothing was done about it and we finally went out for the night. It’s true what they say you get what you pay for. Awful 😞
1st impressions. Staff where lovely, location was great. These are the only good thing about this hotel. We where on a mystery tour weekend. We were given a room on the 4th floor. Overlooking another hotel, car park, bins and kitchen. If you strained out the window you could see the beach.Room OMG where do we start. Dirty, stained wall's, bathroom was dirty. TV was om the far wall, so you cannot see from the far bed. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. In the bathroom shower curtain, which didn't keep the water in. Shower was a small limescale head,, little water came out. Taps were switched on an awful racket. No smoke alarms. Windows a young child could fall out.Food serving a curry on a hot 🔥 day. No air conditioning. Jacket potato was at least a week old. Cheese tasted gone off. Breakfast was the only saving grace. On our return at night. Someone got trapped in the lift. We had to use the service lift. Weston super mare is not a very safe place at night. Kept awake most of the night by shouting outside and very noisy.…
My aunt and I stayed in a twin room, it was basic but clean and had all the amenities, however, we came during one of the hottest weeks and there was no fan in the room or air con, luckily I brought a desktop fan with me. Entertainment in the evening was brilliant and they have a lovely bar downstairs. Staff are wonderful and always about, would definitely go again but maybe during autumn or cooler months.
Arrived to a filthy bathroom and bedroom. Reported to reception but they couldn't do anything until next day and gave me some wipes to clean it myself. After they cleaned it the next day it still looked dirty and very dusty. Broken bed held together with a plank of wood. The food wasnt much better. The shower has 2 settings..freezing or boiling. We cut our holiday short and went home. Totally ruined .disgusting place
What a meal that was absolutely stunning, from the moment we walked through the door we were greet by such a big smile and warm welcome macy took us to our table from there we were given menus and our drinks order taken, the atmosphere was fabulous and we felt comfortable shortly after our drinks came and food order taken .. the drinks were cold / fizzy and so refreshing, then came the absolutely gorgeous food cooked to complete perfection I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect meal the food the staff the environment it’s all a huge 10/10 from me and my partner, we highly recommend this place and will be back again and again and if they continue to employ staff as welcoming and kind and helpful as macy this place will go far, Thankyou the sandringham see you very soon 😊
