We thoroughly enjoyed the two nights we spent here. Great room with sheep grazing outside the window. Good food using local ingredients. Great hosts. Just at the edge of the peak district with views across the surrounding hills.

Lovely setting with great views. Food was really good indeed. Reasonably priced too. There were some reserved tables, so probably better to book to avoid disappointment. Will definately be going again soon.
Called in for lunch, good menu selection and specials. Good choice of cask beers. The fires were roaring and the staff welcoming and friendly. Recommended and we will return to try some more in the near future
