We visited for afternoon tea on a Monday. Tables laid out in a beautiful, bright room. We had a choice of tea or coffee, the coffee wasn't the best, but drinkable all the same. We had 4 finger sandwiches each, cucumber, egg & cress, ham & mustard & smoked salmon, which was my

The hotel felt more like a 4* than 3* hotel - the food was excellent, the room was comfortable and the hotel ambience was relaxing and very welcoming. I was there for walking and it was perfect to be able to go for a Peak District walk from the front door and return to warm up

Dear norris565, Many thanks for bringing this to our attention. We do not offer free breakfast and I have amended the details held by TripAdvisor. Breakfast is charged as part of our package rates on an inclusive basis, if a room only rate is booked we offer breakfast to be added at £9 per person on check in or if you decide at the last minute to come down for breakfast it is charged at £12.95. This is the most expensive way of having the breakfast. We also offer a continental at £6 per person. Many thanks for pointing out the error on the listing. Tony Biddlecombe
