Went for a meal Bank Holiday Sunday with the family. Ordered starters and was cold. Waited 90 minutes for the main meal to arrive with hardly anyone in the pub. Food was not home cooked and expected it was frozen. We have been regulars of this pub in the past and would have highly recommended it. Not now!

Met up with a few friends for a pint. This is a friendly pub with a good local clientele, not that they don’t like occasional visitors. The beer is well kept and, whilst we didn’t eat on this visit, the food is better than standard pub grub

It's will be a sad day when Chris the landlord leaves, it's local to white Nancy, walkers paradise, food is abit on the costly side, but local for us, only so many places in Bollington open for food after 2.30

Was made very welcome as soon as I walked through the door. The owner/manager had me registered almost before I could put by bag down. He took me to my room, which was very pleasant and had everything that was required. He then gave me the keys for my room and the Inn entry. I asked if I could reserve a table for an evening me and this he did as soon as he left me to unpack things. The meal was excellent and was served by a an extremely pleasant young woman who took care of our needs. Breakfast in the morning was served yet again by a pleasant and helpful lady. My stay there was a very pleasant experience.
