Treffidian is situated in a perfect spot with some wonderful sunsets, over looking the golf course and sand dunes. We stayed on the fourth floor with a sea view which was spacious, well maintained and modern. The staff were attentive, helpful and personable. We were served initially by Mike, who is professional and cheerful. Mike went to support Tom (...

A very comfortable hotel, very fairly priced. Very helpful staff and good hotel food - not fine dining - but good choices and the ability to ask for small portions. The public rooms in this hotel are spacious and well furnished. There is a good swimming pool and lots of facilities for guests of all ages.

We are regular visitors to this traditional seaside hotel. The comfortable lounges have excellent views across the dunes to the sea and the beautiful beach is 10 mins walk (across main road though). Rooms are comfortable and very clean; some have balconies and there are a few (small) singles. Food is excellent and plentiful - full grill, kipper or haddock...

Visited for the first time to have lunch. We did not arrive til just after 2pm so chose from the Lounge Bar menu and asked for chips to accompany our sandwich and a panini. Initially the bar man said we were too late but then said he had spoken to the kitchen and chef agreed to do us a bowl....

Lovely hotel with decent size family rooms which allow you relax and unwind. Attentive staff and good activities such as swimming, tennis, snooker and a games room. Local area has beautiful coastline, golf and a steam train for the kids

Repeat visit to this well apportioned, friendly and stunningly situated hotel. Comfortable rooms, dog friendly (with plenty of clients greeting our dog as a family member!). Their Dinner, bed and breakfast offers set you up for fine days doing very little in great comfort or taking a stroll onto the amazing beach and resting your eyes on the fabulous views...

We were disappointed with our evening meal. My husband had soup which he said was only just warm. Secondly we had garlic prawns which were bland & rubbery as though over cooked. My husband had duck which he thought was ok. I had lamb which although beautifully presented was tough & not much flavour. Disappointing as it is such a...

My friend and I stayed at the Treffedian Hotel in Aberdovey for a few days in April this year. The hotel is superbly set overlooking the sea and dunes on the outskirts of this delightful and select resort in Wales. We could not-fault it at all.The staff were attentive and friendly yet remained unobtrusive. The food was high class, beautifully...

Beautiful, well appointed room, the bathroom was well adapted for disabled use. The staff were friendly and polite, all knew their jobs and appeared to take great pride in doing it well. We didn't spend as much time as we would have liked using the hotel facilities, but were lucky enough to enjoy the live entertainment that the hotel regularly...
