This must be one of the best hotels in Wales. Fabulous location overlooking golf course , sand dunes and beach. Food was first class. Room was huge with sitting area at front of hotel with balcony, although this was February so too cold to sit out. Make sure you have a 4th floor room - no dogs allowed !! A...

Two night (Fri. and Sat.) birthday break at the end of January. Lovely hotel, with relaxed atmosphere and wonderful food. Great view from room (with balcony) over golfcourse and Cardigan Bay. Our room (107) a tad small, but comfortable nonetheless. Lower rate for rooms with a hill view, but the sea view was well worth having - even in January!...

Everything is perfect - the rooms are a good size, our view across the golf course, dunes and to the sea where beautiful, the food is incredible - the menu changes daily, we al wanted at least 2 items on each course and each dish was beautifully presented, hot and tasted - wow! As previous mentioned in reviews the staff...

Another visit to what must be the best hotel in the world - almost ! It's position is superb overlooking a massive sea expanse. There are rooms on the front - sea facing and mountain facing at the rear. There is quite a large per person premium for sea-facing rooms though. Traditional standards are a byword a the Trefeddian with...

Last weekend my wife and I returned to the Trefeddian, having recently both suffered with heavy colds. We took advantage of their two-night weekend special which covers the room and also dinner and breakfast. Since our last visit they have been busy upgrading various areas, including a re-vamped Dining Room which to us was attractive, but one other person thought...

Stayed here for 5 nights in January, made to feel very welcome from the moment we came through the door, had a sea view family room, absolutely great. Our 2 year old had a proper cot, rather than a travel cot and the room was partially divided so we could continue to use it easily after she had gone to...

My husband and I visited on a stunning January weekend. From the moment we arrived the team were welcoming and keen to ensure we had a fabulous stay. The hotel is family run and you can really tell this, there is no feel of corporate blandness here! Our room had a sea view and we enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets....

How can it be 10.5 degrees, with sun, miles of golden sand, sea like a mill pond, and too warm for a coat in Wales in the middle of January? It is, and it is the middle of January and it is not that unusual on the coast. You can't guarantee the weather, but it is always interesting, even if...

My husband and I accompanied some friends and their sons to the Treffidian for a birthday celebration. We had the delicious 7 course evening meal which consisted of swordfish, king prawns, hake, scallops, sorbets and coffee. The staff were attentive and fun, service was prompt and excellent. After dinner we sat in the dog lounge! With their dog, drank wine...
