We stayed at this lovely seaside pub/ hotel for 2 nights and were very well looked after especially by the lovely barmaid Laura. We were visiting family and stayed for bed & breakfast. Lovely comfortable room and really substantial breakfast.

Had an overnight stay here in February. Lovely room (2), clean, warm and very comfortable. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere in the bar. Didn't eat here in the evening but the breakfast we had was very good and served in a lovely dining room overlooking the harbour. Would highly recommend and will stay here again.

We booked a table here for 3 people and a dog on New Year's Day and where told we could sit in the snug. After a lovely walk on the beach we arrived here for lunch. The snug was full with a group of 15 family members all wanting to eat but hadn't booked. We ordered drinks from the uninterested...

Visited during the 'twixmas' period, so not exactly heaving with people. The snug area had been booked out so we went into the bar. We have 2 children, age 12 and 7 and 2 dogs. Found a corner, got settled and I went to the bar. There were about 6 other people in the bar area. After a couple of...

A small group of us descended on the Britannia Inn last Hallowe’en lunchtime for a couple of reasons (apart from been hungry)! One, we had never been before and always like to check new places out, and two, the weather for the time of year was amazing and we were drawn to the thought of sitting up on that balcony...

Why 5 stars for a sandwich in the snug? Simply because it was excellent. We only needed a light lunch and chose this pub as we'd never been in there before. The snug was full of character and cosy, nothing remarkable or prettied-up just an old-fashioned type of small room with comfortable seating. The sandwiches themselves were absolutely loaded with...

I accept that problems can occur but i booked a room in this hotel through Booking.com and had a confirmation from them for a very important engagement that could not be rescheduled when I was contacted by the Brittania Inn saying that they could not honour the booking and could only offer their sister hotel the Dovey Inn which was...

Dropped in for a quick beer in August bank holiday Friday 2016 and was thrilled with the views. The IPA had just finished and the other beer selection wasn't to my liking, the local ale and then the standard "premium" lagers 👎🏼 but the vibe was good and again, really cracking view!
