Central hotel right on the mouth of the river. Old building so floorboards creaked but view, food, staff, rooms themselves, excellent! We stayed for two nights and would have loved to have been able to stay longer. The pub part and restaurant were excellent too - very tasty reasonably priced food! Harbour opposite hotel and fabulous beach 100yds up the...

This is a MUST visit for all enthusiasts of the British coastline. Aberdovey (Aberdyfi in Welsh) is one of our most picturesque seaside villages and the Dovey Inn is a jewel in the crown. Situated on the only road in and out of the village and overlooking the estuary, you could not wish for a better location. Whether you are...

Relaxed, refreshing, can't do enough to meet your needs. Entertaining local people, already booked for May. Thanks to Glynn and Chloe for making our stay more special. Aberdyfi hasn't changed, nor should it in over 25 years, it's a secret. The Dovey Inn is part of this. It's nice to go somewhere where the only surprises are good ones. Xx

A pub with lots of character. Lovely "pub grub". Had a lovely room overlooking the estuary. Extremely welcoming staff and locals. Just right for a short break. Parking a bit of a problem in summer but we went in winter!!

In a balmy October a couple of days at the seaside seemed just the tonic after a long spell without a holiday - but we had reckoned without Storm Abigail which came blustering in just before we headed across North Wales to Aberdovey. The little village clinging to the north bank of the estuary is a picturesque place with some...
