Stayed for two nights over the weekend. Room nice and clean. Basic but ideal, sea view,en suite tea and coffee facilities. Booked room only breakfast was available if required. Room was on top floor and a lift was available which helped. Only one small complaint the mattress on the bed is quite old and you could hear the springs. Still slept...

Terrible reception when we arrived. Cold building, cold room. No bath mat, no hairdryer, no heating in bathroom. Two cups, one saucer, one spoon between 2 of us. Couldn't draw the curtains. However the bed sheets were clean. I would avoid unless you come equipped with warm clothes, sleeping bag and camp stove

We booked Christmas Day lunch here and were told the menus would be ready by the weekend, 3 weeks ago, called in today after being told last week they would definitely be ready by last Friday to be told they weren't doing it anymore! Very poor customer service as they had our phone number but obviously couldn't be bothered to...

£56 bed and breakfast for two I can't really complain. Was basic but clean and tidy room was small. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared. The car park was full but it was only £3.50 to park on the prom opposite.

Checked in and checked out five minutes later. My "upgrade" was a room with a large amount of damp, no curtains on the disgustingly dirty windows, just badly fitted blinds, plaster dust on the carpet and chunks of plaster missing from the walls. I asked for a refund and was told "it was Hotel policy not to provide a refund",...

After reading previous reviews, I was concerned about staying here. However, the B&B was quite adequate for one night, the beds being surprisingly comfortable, the family room basic but clean, and the bathroom clean, although basic. There was no towel rail, no light shade, and no shelf for the 3 of us to put anything. One night here was fine...

For £50, we knew this wouldn't be great, but was only booked at last minute because I couldn't face another night camping!!! Room: very very basic, in need of modernising and refurbishment, however TV worked fine, bed was actually quite comfortable and was much better than a water ridden tent. En-suite bathroom was beyond shocking - black mould in the...

Unfortunately this is one of the worst hotels i have stayed in. From the uninviting entrance and bar, up the narrow stairs past "crime scene" like doorways taped up with sheets to a room that needed hovering and had numerous stain both on the carpets and curtains. Our room had a view of the bins! Really can not advise you...
