Reception is not manned, nor is the bar or lounge - in fact there is a severe shortage of staff generally. Upon arrival at around 6pm we found reception locked with a note asking us to call a number which we duly did and a nice girl came and siged us in. We asked where the free parking was (as... More

We booked a double room for just one (Friday)night in order to break our journey to Scotland. It cost £75 for bed and breakfast. We had a horrendous journey up M5 and M6, and so were not going to arrive until after 8.30pm and had noticed on the booking details that reception closed at that time. So I called the... More

Stayed with five friends in the hotel's apartment that sleeps 5 people just across the way from the main hotel. The apartment was huge, well equipt and modern. For £24 each per night we had a fantastic place to stay and a Full English in the morning. The hotel itself looked a bit shabby and there was only one waitress... More

Had a fairly decent stay here for one night, room was adequate and clean, breakfast was good, although a bit disappointed no evening meal on offer, not mentioned when using booking.com. As a whole a bit tired looking with stains in the carpet etc but served the purpose.

Were shown across the road to an annex, up 6 flights of stairs to a grim, hostel-like room- extremely basic. Breakfast, which was very good, for about 20 guests, was COOKED and SERVED by 1 young male who was literally running around the basic, dull dining room and he did a grand job. There was no 'good morning' and I... More

Well website sold me this place but I wished I had stayed in my car. Smelly rooms, filthy carpets, cobwebs that have been there that long they look like ropes. Never again and even worse no one is ever at reception in the evening as they are at the local pub and you have to call or pop there if... More

Whoever said this was a 'luxury'...'boutique' hotel is totally wide of the mark...it's just a 'standard' at best b and b that is nowhere near the £150 I paid for 2 nights...we were 'put' in an annexe despite the main hotel not being fully occupied. First day we come down for breakfast we were informed there was no toast available... More

My friend and I booked a large suite with a sea view which was 100 pounds, and that price for 1 night was ok. I got a call but couldn't reply straight away, so called back soon and the response I had was really rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately when we arrived we got a completely different room with a bit... More

We stayed in room 7 at the top of three flights of stairs, it was a family room so slept 4. The rooms were tidy, we had clean towel and tea making facilities. We had lovely walks along the pier and were very close to the Eric Morecombe statue and the beach. All in all it was a good weekend,... More
