Arrived and all seemed ok, was allocated room 3 on the 1st floor, above the bar, lovely looking room, excellent view, nice size. Dumped our bags and went out for a walk. Came back to chill out at around 4pm, music was coming up through the floor from the bar, but wasn't too loud so wasn't too bad. Went to... More

My Husband and I went on spec on Sunday. Excellent starter of sunblush tomatoes and Mozzarella for me ,and Pate for him - he has so much he actually didn't finish it all. Main course was roast beef and Yorkshire pud. The beef was succulent and tasty and melted in the mouth! Yorkshire was huge, and the veg were fresh... More

I entered a competition for curry for 4 on Facebook & was delighted to be picked as one of the winners. 4 of us ex-darts 'ladies' rolled up for our dinner. We all started with the onion bhajis with riata dip & pickle. The bhajis were the best I've ever had!! Next for me was a Goan prawn stew which... More

Booked one of the family rooms for 4 of us for a weekend break. Comfortable room, clean & warm (was a very cold weekend). Breakfast was buffet style in the newly refurbished 'contemporary' bar/bistro. Staff pleasant & welcoming. Right on the sea front with great views from the front rooms. Nice restaurants just around the corner.

I only had Sunday lunch here, but if the restaurant area is replicated throughout the hotel then it will excellent. The food, although not cheap, was superb, well cooked, fresh and well presented. The staff were excellent and friendly, the place was very clean and welcoming.

Booked to break up a long journey, good location and a warm welcome, but then we were taken to "the annexe" our room was up several flights of stairs, first impression of the room was that it was very small, but ok. Later discovered no wifi at all, and the tv did not have an aerial connector just bear wires... More
