Stayed for one night, received a warm welcome and the receptionist was super helpful, organised me a taxi to and from the event I was attending. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy, there were a few signs of wear on the room but they didn't bother me or impact on my stay. Would stay again

Stayed for two nights and slept really well considering it is so close to traffic thundering by. Only had one meal there,as we were meeting with friends who live in Pickering, but it was very good, well cooked, and a good sized portion too. Realistic pricing too. Run by brothers this a very smooth operation, and guess what? the (local)...

If you're looking to stay at a corporate new hotel with all the latest mod cons (including double glazed windows) look away. However, if you're looking for a privately owned, small, quaint hotel with excellent food and brilliant staff then look no further. Maybe the rooms aren't bang up to date and the WiFi can get glitchy but the atmosphere...

The hotel pictures gave the impression it was very nice. The room was a decent size, however it needs a paint job. The bed was two singles pushed together, and unfortunately they came apart slightly a couple of times during the night. The staff were lovely and attentive. There's plenty of parking too. Breakfast was additional money, which is more...

Stopped off overnight here en route to flamingo land and Bolton castle. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food a bit overpriced for what it is but tasted good. Accommodation was very comfortable with all mod cons - we stayed in a family room (1 double bed and 1 single) with the biggest bath ever! Was concerned the noise from the...
