This B&B and ideally located just outside the centre of Pickering and is a good base from which to explore the North York Moores and the Yorkshire coast. Brenda is very well organised finding out your breakfast likes the previous evening. There is a wide selection of local literature and maps that can be borrowed by guests. Shops and restaurants...

We were only stopping 2 nights but we had a most enjoyable stay. Our room was clean, warm and very comfortable. The owner even provided shoe polish, a first aid box and a sewing kit . Breakfast was very adequate and beautifully served. The house is centrally placed in Pickering on a lovely quiet road. I'd go again!

A lovely welcome to North Yorkshire within walking distance of all the main attractions of Pickering. A beautiful room and friendly service and hearty Yorkshire breakfast! I would definitely recommend a stay here.

This was a short break of 2 nights to see a little more of Yorkshire. Bed room was comfortable and breakfast was more than what we needed with the opportunity to choose what to eat. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

I had to make a last minute booking through Booking.com as my travel plans changed on the day. Brenda responded personally to my online booking, and reassured me that she had got the booking, and it was absolutely no bother (I'd apologised for my late arrangements). I found the place easily using my satnav and eyes, the sign is very...

Thank you for your feed back , Emma . On the question of the pricing for breakfast I feel it is very fair and cannot be taken in isolation ... that it represents my time and labour ... I am a strong believer in giving people a living wage and even at that rate I still fall far short .......

Myj partner needed last minute accommodation in Pickering and was fortunate to discover this gem. Brenda made him feel very welcome and his room was lovely, extremely comfortable, he couldn't have asked for more. So much so that he has booked to go back, no better recommendation than that

This is a lovely little bed and breakfast and very reasonable too. Clean house and clean rooms but there was not a lot of choice with the breakfast. The bread was kept in the freezer and served to us in a tea towel from the toaster which is a little unusual and not the cleanest way to serve it. The...

Thank you for your feed back . I do make it clear that I am only offering a specific meal ....the classic , full English breakfast. I serve the toast in a freshly laundered cotton napkin to keep it warm . Toast , by its very nature is not freshly baked bread .....that is what toast is as traditionally served...

You'll feel immediately at home at this lovely BnB in Pickering. I was staying on my own for a couple of days and Brenda was a warm and motherly host! I had an en-suite bathroom with a shower, access to a bath, and a selection of teas in my room. Perfect after a day out in the crisp Yorkshire air....
