We first came in 2015 and had a wonderful stay. Good for walking, cycling, dog friendly. Staff friendly and helpful. We got a last minute booking and got the wheelchair accessible lodge which is very nice. Get golden oak if you want log fire and hot tub. Ours is copper beech class so bottom end but nice. If you want...

I had a weekend booked but due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel. I had taken out the cancellation insurance as a precaution only to be told that I would only be getting a 25% refund!! this I was told is in the small print!! I have subsequently lost £ 330. please beware of this when booking, there are a...

We arrived on the 30th December for a New Years break with family. We were given lodge 1 which initially I was disappointed about as it is not set in woodland (previously stayed in lots of forest holiday locations) the first few cabins over look a small meadow. However when we arrived in the lodge we were not disappointed and...

This was our second Christmas stay at Forest Holidays having visited Deer Park in Cornwall in 2015. The cabin was the same but the experience was let down by lack of involvement by the staff, an 8pm curfew in the bar!! and a few minor niggly things: the gift pack of firewood was derisory, the cabin was cleanish but former...

Currently sat in the hot tub writing this review. Me and my boyfriend have had an amazing time staying in the cottage. Very clean and modern inside, don't have a single complaint. We took part in the zip wire activity today and loved it, the man guiding us was amazing and friendly. Lots to do around the area, we visited...

Thank you for a lovely review following your recent break at Keldy. We are delighted you enjoyed the cottage and found time to explore and do some activities. Castle Howard is beautiful, particularly at Christmas – a great choice for a day out. We hope you will stay again in the future. Kerry

Perfect place to unwind, good walking in the great outdoors, within 5 minutes of walking came across deer. The cabins are comfy and warm with a nice hot tub. The bed is very hard and made it hard to have a good night sleep. Plenty of hot water and we had two bathrooms. Good valve you for your money if...

We had a weekend break in a 'gold' cabin. I have stayed in 'silver' cabins at Forest Holidays sites at Cropton and the Forest of Dean and found that they were of a better standard than the 'gold' at Keldy. My main issue, though admittedly this is not going to be something that affects every cabin was how overlooked we...

We stayed in the "basic" Copper Beach style lodge which was fabulous (No hot tub) It was spotless, warm, well equipped, spacious and with a wow factor. Set in the woodland which makes up Keldy and the nearby Cropton. The staff were fantastic. Welcoming and helpful. Be sure to take a walk to the local Crompton Brewery. The direction sheet...

This was our second holiday with Forest Holidays, the first was Sherwood Pines in September. We stayed in a Golden Oak 2 bedroom and we was not disappointed, a nice clean and well equipped cabin with amazing views and feel. Hot tub was nice and maintained everyday.
